I ordered me stock for the 260 build Feb 15th... six months today... still aint got it.. juat a heads up for the rest of you waiting too...

I believe I ordered mine on the 14th of Feb. I was told that it was getting its final paint yesterday, then the mini chassis today. So it should be shipping soon. I hope so, the wait is killing me.

I was quoted a Six month wait... "Maybe even a few weeks more". From Mc Millan when I ordered a stock a few months back.
Apparently "Back Ordered" and "Out of Stock" are the new business model.

I think I would be checking the classifieds here for a stock that would work...or is very close to what You ordered....BUY it...Build your rifle months earlier......then when yours comes in, move it, keep it, whatever. What I ended up doing. Found a near perfect match to what I ordered a few weeks back. Bought it...now I should have my build done at least 2 months earlier than expected.

Hurry Up and Wait.

I live by the hurry up and wait modo... pretty used to it... ive figured out now that anything you know you will need... get it on order now so when ur ready for it its only a few month wait lol...

It is worth every second, week, month... I simply could not be happier with Manners stocks, or the customer service they provide. I will receive my 4th Manners today, an MCS-T in GAP camo.

I ordered a T3 with standard paint and mini chassis in May, and was quoted 16-18 weeks. I hate the wait too, but damn if they're stocks aren't worth it!

At least you can get a hold of them and they can give you a realistic time table. Try to do that with, powder, primers, bullets, 22lr, ect, ect.

I think my 16 weeks was this week or next week. They said it would be another 4 weeks. In my situation that's not a problem.

It seems like you gotta pay (in this case wait) to play the game, that is unless you pay for a second one thats ready to go. But when I got my manners stock (my first high end rifle accessory pretty much) the wait was more along the lines of 20weeks as opposed 16. then when I finally got it, the inlet wasn't quite right so I had to send it back and while that only took a week and a half to get there, for them to fix it and get it back to me, those few days were a worse wait than the first 5 months.

Hi Guys, I was going to start a different thread today, but this is the perfect place to post this.

I would first like to start off by saying thank you to all the great support that you guys have given us over the years, because of you we continue to grow. Its only been two years since we moved into our new facility. When we did I thought that it would be big enough to last for years, but I was way off, LOL. We now currently run a day and night shift and most weekends at this facility. To help keep up with our growth and get our wait times back down we have leased a additional 4000 sqr feet building across the street from our plant. This facility will be up and running Sep 1st. In anticipation for this new location we feel that we have planned for a very smooth transition. Over the last 4 weeks we have rammed up mold production and have hired and trained most of the staff. This new facility will mainly be used for additional mold layup and finish work. The current mill room and all the current operations will not be affected, nor will we loose any production capacity.
The main reason for this post is to let you guys know that we appreciate your support and to let you know how dedicated we are in maintaining it.
I posted over in the elite hunter group buy section, if you have a build that is getting up there, PM me your build number and contact info, i will track it down in the system, that also applies here.
Thank you very much,

Good to hear from you Tom, thanks for the update. Glad you all are getting bigger and better.

Thank you very much,

Tom, tree
I would like to thank you here for all the help over the past couple weeks with the small issue with the stock. Your customer service is without equal and it shows on daily basis. I hope that the issues with the change in the DBM dint hinder you too much. thank you again.
thankfully, respectfully,
Brad

Wow! 6 months wait? I thought it was 8 to 12 weeks wait.

I ordered the T4-A from Stockys in anticipation of my upcoming LRI Group buy rifle.

Can anyone confirm that when you order from Stocky's, they charge you even when the items is out of stock? I've been billed but no stock yet.

Great post Tom. To the OP, its well worth the wait. I ordered my first Manners stock 1/22/13 and received it 6/21/13.

Ordered mine in feb, just came in. A tf1a in woodland. It had to go back for some work for the action to fit but was awesome and I can't wait to try it out.

I lucked out.

I called to see if a T4 could be converted to a T4A (it cannot). And lamented the long wait. Jaimie asked what I was looking for, and after I told her (T-4A, Rem SA, MiniChassis, at least 3 sling swivels), she said she had one on the website as available right now. When I told her I had checked a short while ago and it wasn't listed, she laughed and said she had just submitting the web site change. :) And the stock was sitting on her desk.

It was in Mud, which was not on my list of choices, but after getting it (about 7 days :) , including time for me to move some money), I really like the look.

Feb 14 order, got it two days ago. It's a really nice piece of work.

worth the wait & every penny, even for a poor boy who spent way more than he should have

Just wanted to add my own here,

I'm a new guy here and while not a noob to firearms in general I'm a st00pit n00bie on sniper rifles and long distance accuracy and precision tactical rifles etc.

As I detailed elsewhere I am a very proud owner of a MCS T5A DBM for my AAC-SD now. I had always known and to a certain extent wanted a MCS stock but since the wait was 26 weeks, I just couldn't sit still that long. Stockys has Manners stocks but rarely what I wanted in combination with what I need. I got what I consider to be EXTREMELY LUCKY when I happened upon Euro Optic and saw they now carry MCS...And while I appreciate that many professionals and experts here dont need nor are seeking "regular" Remington 700 short action, varmint/tactical/sendero style stocks, how awesome was it that by chance that was what Euro Optic carried mostly and exactly what I wanted. The two T5A DBM stocks they had were literally EXACTLY HOW I would have ordered my own custom from Manners and I had a choice of two different camo colors. Two me this was basically as lucky as I could get because in my humble opinion.... it was like getting a custom MCS ordered stock in 2 days. Maybe HAD I ordered and waited the 26 weeks, I would have selected an alternative camo color, but who knows... I was more than happy WITH EITHER the two available and as it happens, I met the gentleman who got the other color I had left behind... and he had been thinking of mine as I had been considering his.

Having had the stock now, I can say quite honestly the wait of 26 weeks would be WELL WORTH IT, the stock is AMAZING.... I AM extremely happy and feel like I finally hit a grand slam with a gun related semi impulse purchase. I believe this is the finest stock system in the world. And the people were so nice and helpful when I called to go over the installation (having never done this to this extent before and needing a torque wrench/Torx bit driver etc). Awesome experience all around and Manners is the finest stock company and finest people in the business. I am so happy and so lucky to have chosen well. I just wish I didnt lust already for another MCS build.
