Hi all, i was just wondering if anyone here has used one of mcmillans actions in a tactical rifle type setup? If so, what are some pros and cons. Thanks for in advanced

I had a Tac338 and loved the action, silky silky smooth and seemed to be built like a tank. You won't find much love for the action on here likely due to the cost. I am actually planning a build on one of their actions in the near future once I free up some cash.
Sorry I don't have more info for you.

My buddy just built off of a Mcmillan action and he loves it. I haven't played with it but from what he says I would have no worries building on one.

My good shooting buddy has a full McMillan build in 300 mag. It is a fantastic rifle and insanely accurate. I really like the action. It's not super flashy but it's smooth as any I have felt and locks up like a bank vault. If you have the cash I would def consider a full on McMillan rifle.

I pulled the bolt from the one i have listed and one out of a rem700 long action took some quick measurements
MCM REM
bolt dia* .716 .696
lug width .451 .443
lug length .425 .444
action
port opening 3.50 3.25
action dia 1.365 1.351

built like a tank probably end up keeping it and build off it 300win OR 338 edge
