DTA magazines - drop free?

All of mine drop freely, both long and short, even those that were Cerakoted.

I will say mine is brand new - both the mags and the chassis. Its the SRS-A1 chassis. I also ran into another issue with one of my mags - essentially when loading the follower catches (second round) on the cutout on the mag for the mag release (internally). Wondering if the drop free is just a wear-in deal, or if something changed with the new A1 chassis or new run of mags?

On my new A1 all of my 308 mags drop free even when new. Haven't tried the 338 mags yet as I don't have the 308 conversion yet even though I have several 338 mags and they do drop freely when inserted into the rifle.

called DTA - they suggested tightening the two skin bolts near the magwell, then loosening them. When I did this it worked for me. You can just adjust the bolt tension till you get a good magazine drop, then Loctite them down. The torque setting is supposed to be 22 in/lbs, however, I found this not to work, it seems too high - hence the purple Loctite.
