I'm relatively new (less than 2 years) to the precision discipline. I've sort-of deduced that Lapua was the holy grail of brass... at least for 308 Win, that is. I am currently running Lapua, and am very happy with the results. I will say that I have neck turned them, and I do anneal. Even still, I'm impressed with the quality and consistency.

If it aint broke, don't fix it... right?

Anyone running Nosler cases? That stuff is flippin expensive; is it worth the money?

I run Nosler in 300WM and 300 Ultra with great results. Good case life so far after several reloadings. If you have Lapua, don't switch brands, or even mix headstamps if you want accuracy. I run Lapua in 243 and wouldn't switch unless I couldn't get Lapua any more.

From what I have seen, Nosler is every bit as good as Lapua. Now,I expect somebody to jump in with the comment that one of them makes the other, etc, etc. Whatever. But, frankly I can't tell the difference, as far as quality. Where does Norma fit into the equation? I'm not an insider like some people but, back in the 70's when the only source of 220Swift brass was Winchester and Norma, I developed a dislike for Norma that persists today. I shoot around 25 different chamberings, almost exclusively handloads and I don't run Norma in any of them. Funny how attitudes persist like that. BB

edit: hardly ever mentioned, but I have to say that I am a big fan of PMC brass.

I use Nosler for 7mm SAUM, Norma for 338 Norma Mag and Lapua for 6.5x55. All very high quality brass; which is best? Good question..... All are in a completely different league than Remington.
