Hey guys, I am going to be getting a new DTA HTI next week and need to pick out some glass that will get it done out to 2500 yards. I've owned a 5-25 S&B before and was pleased with it but I want to hear about any alternatives, i.e. the Beast or the Kahles etc. Cost is an issue in the sense I will be selling some optics and guns to pay for it, so while I want to make sure I get something I can trust, I also want to get the best bang for my buck. I am also interested in hearing reticle suggestions for a 375, i.e. does a Tremor2 make sense for a 375 (from what I read of the wind formula I didn't think it made a ton of sense but I am probably wrong)? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Available elevation is probably the most important aspect you'll want to consider to get that rifle to its full potential. That an a 40MOA mount.

That's a good choice. My point was more about not getting too narrow focused on getting a high-magnification scope, but look more closely at scopes that have lots of available elevation travel. The S&B 5-25x will give you about 26mils and I would use that as a baseline as that alone backed off a bit to 15x or 20x will give you enough to get you deep in the 2000-3000 yard range.

It looks like I need about 32 mils to hit 2500 yards so I think anything with at least 25 mils should be ok as I don't mind holding. Anyone have any experience with the K624 compared to a PMII 5-25?

Optically I would say it compares to the PMII 5-25x. Obviously there are differences elsewhere, but if there's one property of scopes that Khales is known for it's optical quality.

Please do us a favor and post a good review of both the HTI and the scope. I'm very curious and will probably purchase the HTI myself in the near future. I would also like to hear your thought between the Kahles and the S&B.

What reticle did you go with?

I chose the MSR, scope will be here monday and I assume the gun will be here by next week as well, just waiting on the shipping notice. Pics and review will follow, but I'm having a hell of a time finding 375 components or loaded ammo.
