Rifle Scopes Xlr chassis scope height

I'm very interested in the xlr for long range (out to 1300 hopefully) I noticed a lot of talk about getting scope super close to the muzzle which I understand was just wondering on the xlr if it can get close enough to truly be accurate, I've seen a few on here and I'd imagine if it doesn't work you guys wouldn't use it just making sure it will be okay since the scope won't set as low thanks guys.!

Scope height and accuracy do not go hand in hand. You can be just as accurate with a scope 6" above the muzzle as you would be 1" above. Whatever you read was internet folklore.

Here is a pic of my TC Icon 6.5CM in an XLR. My problem was the integral base didn't allow much latitude in scope placement on the mount. I used an old B Square AR Riser to help with that. Scope is a VIper PST 6-24.
Rifle is untouched as gunsmithing goes and shoots sub 1/2MOA with 142 SMK.
