i used the search and found nothing. so here goes... has anyone ever heard of someone using a browning abolt action for a custom build? i have a mountian ti that i was thinking about revamping. basically keep the action and discard the rest. and obviously build from there.

McMillan inlet stocks for the A-bolt. However no one makes a replacement mag system. I had my smith screw on a lothar walther barrel after trashing the original. It shoots a dream and is a perfect hunter.

Can be done but why? Browning should have never moved away from the Mauser crf actions of old as they are hunting rifles. Go Remington, savage, or a custom action for the huge options aftermarket.

Sounds like it could make a pretty sweet little hunting rig, but maybe a little feature short for a tactical/lr rig IMHO.
