What a asshole. Good riddance from the head coaching ranks. Maybe NFL owners and college AD's will realize he's not mature enough to lead a football team. His place is in the booth with a headset on calling plays.

SR. or Jr.?

By "SR" I assume you mean Monte Kiffin? He's back in the NFL as a defensive coordinator. Talking about Lane who was fired from USC early Sunday after Arizona State hung 60+ points on the Trojans.

I was shocked when USC hired him. He was unproven. He is proven now though.

There will be several coaches fired at the end of this season.

Yea , kiffin acts like a child, spoiled brat. Seems like all these highly educated people at these schools should have known what he was before they hired him in the first place.

I couldn't remember the kids name. Monte is in Dallas? He used to coach linebackers in Minnesota before moving on to a defensive coordinator position. He is a great coach at what he does. Probably won "The most useless coach/announcer, IMO, Jon Gruden" his superbowl. Nevermind that Tony Dungy built the team and Kiffin coached the defense right.

As far as Lane goes, what was the reason they fired him? Not getting it done? Like Pete Carroll did? Carroll won left and right. Then got busted with the worst sanctions in NCAA history for the crap he pulled.

I'm not saying Lane is great, but lets be honest here. Carroll put the program in a tailspin and Lane was the perfect guy to fire three-four years down the road as "not getting it done". You now go out and hire a "great" coach who can do it all over again, because, now the sanctions are off.

I can't say I'm sad about it, but you call call it like it is.

That karma comes a knocking at the damnedest of times! He needs to go stick his head in a Gatorade cooler and calm down the antics. He only hurts himself.

Despite his antics he convinced Al Davis to hire him as a coordinator with the Raiders.

Then head coach at Ten. and then USC. All this by the time he was the ripe old age of 35.

He may be done as a head coach but he has a lot money to take some time off to reinvent himself.

The man should work in Marketing....

Yep, he's a good salesman. Got to give him that. His ol' lady is hot too. He'll have more time to spend with her now.
