The EXFIL LTP™ is our Lightweight, Tactical, Polymer bump helmet. It offers a stable, comfortable platform for mounting night vision and other accessories while providing the best impact protection in the market. The built-in NVG shroud utilizes an integrated Wilcox® insert, machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum billet, which dramatically improves durability over plastic shrouds while ensuring an extremely precise interface with NVG mounting arms. It features an innovative padding system developed exclusively for and optimized around the EXFIL helmet design, along with our CAM-FIT™ retention system that uses easily adjustable cam-lock sliders and a micro-adjustable Boa® dial.

TEAM WENDY RAIL 2.0 SYSTEM:

•Lower rear center-release-buckle (CRB) acceptor, also functions as rear t-slot entry

Extensive testing by the US Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) conclusively determined that the Team Wendy pad system provided the greatest protection against blunt impact shock effects.
When tested they use extreme hot and cold temperatures (130 Fahrenheit and 14 degrees Fahrenheit) and a variety of impact speeds. The speeds are 10ft per section and 14.14ft per second.

Team Wendy website says "Accepting pre-orders now to ship starting Oct. 21, 2013."

Is this a real date they will be starting to ship these items out? Having no prior experience with this company I don't know if this means what it says or not. I need a helmet now but would consider waiting on this if the ship date is realistic.
