Thanks for signing up! The course sold out a few days ago.

Since demand continues to increase and we don't want to keep wait listing shooters we just added another course. The dates are 11-12 January 2014. Hopefully this will catch us back up with demand and we can find a happy medium so you guys can plan and have time to get time off work while keeping the registration open longer the a week and a half.

Let me know if you have any questions. We are looking forward to another great class and thank you for continued support!

Shannon

Shooters,

Both January and this course remain sold out. The wait list is empty, so if waiting until the June class is not an option, or it's to long to wait let's us know. We can keep ya updated if someone backs out.

For the attendees, please let us know if you have any questions. If we haven't gone over your equipment, we need to soon. I believe I have talked to most of you already.

Thanks and we will see you soon,

Shannon

Shooters,

We have one slot that opened up for the this course date. If you can flex only a few weeks out or are signed up for the June course and want to attend now, please contact me. Thanks

Shannon

We finished up our February Basic Long Range Precision Rifle Course over the weekend. We were able to spend 2 days in great weather with 18 shooters from all over the country! A big thanks goes out to the students for being safe and coming ready to learn. You all seemed to mesh really well and had great time together! Overall your performance was top notch and you improved rapidly. Everyone had no issue getting out to 800 yards, shooting 2 MOA movers and threading the needle at 1 MOA targets (at times LOL).

Congrats to Jack Ward for pulling off the end of course competition win!

A special note to Max and Jen, it is always nice to see the ladies lay down on the line and show the guys how it is done. Good shooting!

Kim Biggs, as a class repeat, you came back after taking the course a year ago and hammered it! Nice job!

Everyone keep in contact and make sure you get with us as you continue to train.

A huge thanks to Don and Mark. These weekends get long and now more often as we grow, thanks for the help and sacrifice. You guys are great instructors and it is easily quantified by the students performance and relationships you build with them.

Shannon

Thank you Shannon, Don, and Mark. I came in to this class as a new shooter, and left with confidence to make a 800 yard shot without question. K&M is a first class facility, and the course was top notch. I highly recommend this class to all levels of shooters.

We have always around firearms but the training and instruction we received over the two day course has greatly improved our skill set.
This is a great course to be introduced into the world of competitive shooting and what a great experience.
I would highly recommend the class and Shannon on his crew.
The only draw back is I'm on the hook for another Schmidt for my wife's build.
Oh well...............

Looking forward to the Advanced Course in the future.

Thanks for everything Shannon we wish you continued success.

Originally I was looking for a fun Christmas present for my husband. I found K&M Precision on Sniper Hide. When I called, Shannon Kay asked why I wasn’t going with my husband; it didn’t even occur to me that I could because I have a spinal cord injury and have some limitations. It didn’t matter, the staff helped me adjust, adapt and overcome all of my physical obstacles.
I was a pretty nervous about being in an arena I had so little experience in, literally no experience beyond 100 yards. We only had time to take my new 6mm Creedmoor to the range once before the Basic Long Range Rifle Class. Not ideal.
The class portion was, as Shannon put it ‘A fire hose of information coming at you’. (Perfect analogy) The class work moved quickly, Shannon Kay is an engaging instructor and has a dry sense of humor that keeps the mood light. When we got to the 100 yard range to set our zero, things moved quickly there too. It was not like other courses where you spend more time waiting than shooting. The class was divided into three groups, with an instructor for each group. I worked with Don Albares, he was an amazing instructor. I have taken other ‘marksmanship’ (mostly handgun) courses and have never felt very good about my improvement. I always feel like I am missing something that could make me a better shot.
We were assigned a number and that was our target for the weekend. The target in the picture was my husband Bill’s, number 17 and I was number 18. My first group was decent, about 2.5”, I thought that was pretty good group, was I wrong! As I was shooting Don would make small suggestions and I was floored at how much difference they made, he saw the mistakes everyone else had missed. The entire class improved rapidly at 100 yards. If you feel like you’re good, take this course and become great.
Side note: Make sure all of your equipment is working well together before you go to the course. I had a 10 round mag that gave me fits and cost me in timed events. The instructors were fully ready to assist with any unforeseen issues, but it sucked for the students that missed range time because of equipment issues that might have been avoided.

GUYS YOU CAN STOP READING NOW, THIS PORTION IS FOR THE FEMALES ONLY.
Any woman who has been to any range ever, has had ‘helpful’ men tell them how to shoot. I am polite so I smile and say ‘thanks’ to the condescending man that assumes I don’t understand my own firearms. You won’t find that guy at the K&M Precision range. Before they say a word the instructors assess what you know and how you shoot. They treated the woman with the same level of respect as the men. The other male students treated me as an equal; everyone was very supportive of each other.
I am a girly girl. I like cute clothes, makeup and in general like to look like a female. I was a bit nervous I would be mocked for my range appropriate, but fun feminine attire. To the contrary, Shannon even commented that my boots were cute (they were!). Ok so maybe he was teasing a tiny bit, but it was all in fun. Both women were small, Jen is tiny (and smoking hot), am a small AND I have a spinal cord injury. You don’t have to be a big strong guy to take this course. When we were going from prone to standing there was so much groaning from the guys it sounded like a haunted house. Call Shannon (super nice guy) and ask him if you are concerned about your physical abilities.
It is hands down the cleanest range I have ever been to. The rest room facilities were Porto lets, but they were clean, did not smell and were well stocked with TP.
This is a great bonding weekend with your husband, mine was holding my hand and acting like he did when we were dating. I would go as far as to say it was a romantic weekend. It is sexy as hell to see your husband in the prone position, eye at his scope, firing, waiting for the ping of metal, then that smile... y’all know what I mean.
If you are a woman that enjoys shooting, this is a safe environment to hone your skills. I encourage you to do whatever it takes to get to there and take this course.
We will 100% be back for the Advanced Long Range Rifle Training.

All,

Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you all enjoyed the course. It was a great weekend and we will see many of you at the Advance Course or the upcoming K&M Precision Rifle Competiion!
