Hi guys,

We are getting a ton of pings about the "V10" bipod and wanted to let you guys know our name and numbers for it will be;

Part # BT35 - ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 1913 Rail mount

We will be giving all the details and pricing ASAP and not before. Until then, this is what I can say;

1. The Atlas 5-H borrows the Patented and Patent pending features found on the Atlas V8.

2. It will be geared towards the larger .338 and up calibers.

3. It will be heavier than the Atlas V8, but want to keep it's fighting weight at 16 ounces.

4. It will have a taller and wider stance

5. It will have 1-3 new and novel features that the big bore guys we have spoken to have deemed a requirement.

6. It is a 1913 rail mount bipod

Timeline - I really fail big at this and will not do so again, well at least not on this subject matter so please do not ask. What I will promise is if interested we will have a contact list that we will use. If you are on this list then you will be given first chance to pre-order one once the details are made public.

Please use this email address;

[email protected]

Please put "ATLAS 5-H BIPOD" in subject line and we'll add you to the list.

Last, we did get notice this week of another contract being awarded for our V8 bipod. We were able to absorb the contract we are currently filling and keep our 6-10 week back log, but this new one, so close to the current one, will tip us towards shutting civilian sales down for awhile.

SO, my advice is if anyone is thinking about getting a V8, best to place order sooner rather than later as to avoid a longer delay.

Thanks one and all for your support I appreciate it a ton and will never take it for granted. You guys are the best.

Noted Kasey... just rolled over to Triad & ordered another, thanks for the heads-up. Congrats on the new contracts... sounds like the word is really getting out on you guys. It's well deserved - great product & great service. Thanks man.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Congrats on your success, Kasey. I look forward to the new and innovative stuff guys come up with.

Way to go Kasey. Does this mean you are not going to fire Kody?

Lucky for all the civilian Atlas fans, we have been stocking up on them for the last few months. We have a good supply of all three styles of attachment, and YES, they are all the most current version of the Atlas V8.

Your gatway to the elusive cache of ATLAS Bipods.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Very good; thanks for the update!

One question, it has been mentioned repeatedly that the V10 is geared toward larger caliber rifles. However, some of the features you mentioned above (wider stance, greater weight, etc.) strike me as also being very suitable for use in F-Class competitive shooting, regardless of the caliber. With your firsthand knowledge of the V10 system, would you agree/disagree with this? If you think it might not be suitable for F-Class type shooting, could you elaborate at this time as to why?

Thanks again for the update Kasey. As always, your service to your customers is stellar and much appreciated!

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Thanks guys, I appreciate your support.

gstaylorg, I agree with your assessment. I am not a student of that sport however from what I have seen being used and what I have heard is desirable, it would seem a natural fit for F-class.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Thanks for the update. Just talked a fellow shooter into going in for 2 V8's from Triad. Happy with the purchase!

Bad influence.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

I'm shooting Rem 700's in 308 and 300 WM, what is the best Bipod. I was just on Triad getting ready to order and came here to search. I have three Harris but heard these were quite nice.

Anyone have a quick run down on these Bipods. I have read the basics , but not from shooters. Just ad stuff.

I also run an LMT MWS, but I have a Harris with larue mount that has done well so far.

Any help appreciated

PB

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Kasey,

Let me say that hearing of your continued success with yet another contract is awesome. You have made a superior product and it's been recognized as such.

With this success, do you have any plans for growth so that us "civilians" can continue to have access to your product without unreasonable wait times? A couple of weeks is not unreasonable, but 8-10 weeks for a bipod? Please don't take that negativley, I'm just curious as I'm sure others are too. I love my Atlas bipods, but I'd also like to be able to get online and buy another one if I felt like it from someone that had "in-stock" inventory......all the time.

You have what I feel is the best bipod on the market right now, so that being the case, I can't see the demand for them declining anytime soon. Just curious what your plans for the future are.

Thanks for the great product.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Trevor, thank you, I appreciate your kind words and support. I do not take anything in your post as negative, it is accurate and I could not agree more. We are gaining on our contractual obligations, and we continue to ship bipods to our dealers that agreed to taking monthly shipments. We did this to support our dealers and give a source for civilian sales So I'd like to believe a civilian could get one from one of them.

We currently plan to offer additional bipods to dealers by end of February, and then direct civilian sales after that.

Please look at our dealers page, and contact them about getting one.

Again thank you.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

PappaSniper, my advice to you would be the V8 bipod. Based on your rifles, I do not believe you need to wait on the V10. While I have obviously not seen one, I can tell you that the V8 is a heavy duty piece of gear & I cannot see needing a V10 myself anytime soon.

Keep in mind that these will need to be mounted to a rail, not a sling swivel stud like a Harris... Steve at Triad sells the rails as well. Good luck, hope this helps.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Is there any updates for the V10 Bipod?

Bah! I saw this got bumped and thought Kasey mighta had an update. Curses!

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Kasey said he wanted to take February off to focus mainly on getting the 5H ready. Maybe you guys will get an update soon.

I'm still wanting to know what the V10 is.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Dammit.... I sa the thread bumped up, i thought it had come out of the closet.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

I'd be in for one.

Re: ATLAS 5-H BIPOD - V10 -Heavy Duty 19

Any news?

Thanks for your interest and progress is being made, but my timeline is hijacked.

Here are a few reasons why, the volume of sales we are experiencing, hiring of additional personnel, completion of three other projects and closing on a building to accommodate our growth.

We will strive to insure the 5-H accommodates most, say 95% of all expectations for that application.

Again, Thank you for your interest and patience.

News from another thread, posted by Kasey:

"Our 5-H bipod will bring the patented features of the V8 into a beefier, stiffer and heavier bipod with some new features applicable for ELR shooting into the market for consideration. The parts are being fed to the shop now for prototyping and then production with delivery early 2014. And yes, its been a long time coming and as I'm not inclined to listen to excuses I will not give any, other than to say we have not been idle with our time....:)"

You will find them at Triad Tactical as soon as they are available to the public:
Triad Tactical, Inc.*::*Bipods etc.*::*Atlas V10

Just click on the link above, and hit the "notify me when product becomes available " button.
....You'll then get reminded in a 2017 :p email when they come out.

Midwestside - How did you see my business plan??? :)

That is funny only because there is some truth in it!

Okay, how about a teaser that sucks? Here's a hybrid bipod...kinda of a cross between a V8 and a 5-H that we could call the V9?

And the suck part? I'm not saying anymore about it right now.... other than IT IS NOT THE 5-H, in fact the 5-H might be available before this is.

Kasey,

Hope all is well brother,

I am a firm believer in your products, and my bank account will attest to that......

That V9 you shown above, really it just looks like my V8 with 3 inch leg extensions in it right? Or am I missing something? I have both a 338 edge, and a big boy toy that will need the new 5 H bipods, So I am excited for that.

I told Mr. Triad himself I want him to tell me when they are available. Cause I am all over it.

Also, they going to be in the $399 range? or $499 range, Either way, does not matter to me, Im getting two because it is the best made period in my opinion, just curious

As soon as yall get one out I'll buy it. All my ARs sport keymod rails and I'm not too keen on adding picatinny rail sections to stack the bipod on. Kinda defeats the purpose of going keymod. Glad to hear its in the works. Sounds like yall are pretty busy.

Anything new? I am desperate for a decent HD Bipod for my .338LM. Thanks.
