I have a Surgeon 16" 308 coming and a 16.5" 300blk I'm using along with a 20" 308. The 20" with 7.62SDN6 in an AICS with the NVD and PEQ is Too heavy!! I'm looking forward to the Surgeon as it will be in an AX chasis!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one left that likes the Baker Special stocks. Are you using a long-box magazine? If so, how many did you squeeze in?

I did not. It's a standard magazine box.

I did not realize they made such a mag box.

They designed the stock so that you could use a taller mag box in the rifle with a blind magazine setup. I don't know that anyone makes one commercially, but I've extended ADL boxes before for that purpose.
