Rifle Scopes Best deal I have seen in a long time!!!

Thanks Veer, seeing that I realize how "tarded" I really am as there is simply nothing funny about that -- so there's no reason to make fun of CS if there's nothing funny about them...or so I'm told.

Hmmmm..... So much rehashed garbage on this Thread that I'm surprised Maggot hasn't yet pounced on the opportunity to contradict himself and then blame someone else for his confusion.

Seems like a lot of dumb fuck retards like Kynd running around here in last few months making the hide turn barfcom'ish, heaven help the hide

KYND

The seller is absolutely 100% douche and a liar. He clearly stated that CS is on par with NF and S&B. I've owned all three, and it is so fucking obvious the CS is a complete piece of shit compared to the other two. So either one of two scenarios is happening. He's never handled a S&B or a NF and is lying about the fact that he has and knows the CS is on par with them. Or that he has handled a S&B and NF and is lying about how the CS is on par. Either way he's lying, therefore he's a douche.

I bought my CS scope some 10 years ago when Midway started carrying them. I think I paid somewhere in the vicinity of $450 for it. I sold it to a close friend with full disclosure for $150 five years later. Dishonesty is what makes him a douche.

so i guess its just an ongoing joke around here regarding counter sniper and their shady marketing. i get it now, that was my main question. these insults are quite funny tho, not sure why randoms come along and just decide to throw in an insult. big run on sentences, just jibberish? lol.. my type are bringing down the hide?

So true matey. When I got into trap shooting I had the good fortune to have a veteran champion take me under his wing and introduce me to his circle of fellow veteran shooters and winners. I did not take the opportunity to argue with them and spout stupid crap I heard from questionable sources. I kept my mouth shut and learned, going on to win my own share of money, trophies and gold. Apparently I did it wrong. I should have led with my mouth. Are there really that many know-it-all shooters who are only now discovering this site? Really?

But of course there are new people on this board who know their stuff. It becomes quickly obvious who they are. So I'm not irrationally biased against new forum members. Nor do I lavish undue praise on someone simply because they've wasted half their life lurking around a web forum accumulating thousands of posts. But it does diminish this site -- in my personal opinion -- when there are a lot more new people than in years past who insist on spouting stupid comments and questions incessantly.

Traffic is great for this site. It makes Frank money I'm sure. And it attracts vendors and manufacturers which helps all of us. But I joined this site because it was one of the few, or only, sites where there was a large cadre of posters who could be counted on to give advice based on well reasoned thought and/or observable fact rather than simply repeating internet and gun-store lore that gains momentum just by being passed around unquestioned for a long time. Yet in this thread it is people like me who are being accused of repeating internet lore about these "great" CS scopes. Can't anyone just read a little, do some searches, ask some questions, maybe even shoot a little, and then start spouting off like a wise arse? I suspect next week we're going to have three threads on which tactical bayonet is best for my tactical pistol -- 6", 10", or 14" tactical profile?

Cartman, that is the truth and it started with Rob01's "Do not attack new members" warning. I saw it coming then.

I joined for the same reason you did, this WAS the only no BS site for learning and talking about long range shooting. The "grumpy" nature of the old members kept the retards at bay, and shut up the know-nothings. Now it's turning into the same free for all nonsense that the rest of the internet forums are.

Sniper's Hide is still the number one go to site for me, but it's NOT what it used to be. People (including myself) used to think hard before posting a question because if it was stupid or had already been covered you were ostracized and shit on. It kept the forum clean and made real knowledge easy to find. Now there's a new thread every day about "what scope for a beginner" and "what trigger for my AR?" and members who have been here more than two years, who stuck around because this site WAS unique and had it's own flavor and hard edged brand of comraderie just roll our eyes and lament.

Those were glorious days, the old Sniper's Hide.

RyeDaddy I've only recently been converted to your way of thinking -- and I regret taking so long.

Please…………Oh please don't banish me and make me go back to Calguns!!!

Maybe he should look at the huskemaw brand scope! The shills at LRH think it's at least a gen 3 above any and all others! You must wonder how much "kick back" the board owner [LRH] gets each time a sucker buys in....

Is this the reticule in question? The metric one? Captured this screen shot from "Olympus Has Fallen". :)
