Are these different from the Jerry Miculek scope they already sell? If so, how. I'm interested in a 1-6x24.

yes they will have a different reticle option. I should have a drawing I can post in the next week or so.

That is about the way my luck goes!.....the week after I buy a scope everyone starts advertising all the new models

PLEASE keep in mind, just because new product is announced it in no way means that it will be available at any specific date soon. Remember how long between the PST FFP was announced and when they were actually available. We hope these new releases are around sometime early in 2014, but until they arrive don't fret over something you just purchased.

I'm with you here... Just bought a 5.5-20 Razor. Albeit used.

Might have to put that up for sale and order the new 4.5-27 EBR2-C. I wanted to send this new to me used one in for the tree reticle...

Problem is, just how far with the CDN retailers bend over the Canadian people?

I like that they announced stuff now instead of waiting until SHOT. I was getting antsy waiting.

They really should do the EBR 2 reticle with heavier dots while keeping the numbers to the right unlike their EBR 2b. That would be a home run.

I can understand getting the Viper PST models for the price... but the Razor models are way up in the $$. Is it really worth the money to get the Razor models? (same range as the nightforce.)

sorry for the noob question. I don't have a dealer near me that carries the Razor models.

the 2.5-10x32 with the XLR reticle is a combination I'll be very interested in.

VHS-4323-LR Viper HS LR 2.5-10x32 FFP Riflescope with XLR Reticle (Long Range, MOA) $799.99

I'm stoked! It's really kind of cool to see Vortex up and coming. I am rooting for them all the way!

Looks like the EBR2 b with some modifications....I like it. Hope they do reticle upgrades for older models.

In the past, Vortex has stated they have no intention of performing reticle swaps in existing scopes. I would imagine this is due to the fact that they have no manufacturing or service facilities this side of the water. I also imagine this si the reason their blanket policy is replacement of defective products, as opposed to repair.

Nice to see new Razor II 1-6 reticle choices, although I doubt I will upgrade my JM reticle model, which works surprisingly well for a SFP 1-6.

They have mentioned reticle changes were possible on Arfcom when they came out with XLR reticle but said they had to cstch up on production first. I just seen a new batch of 6-24 XLRs flooded Ebay recently after about five months of draught. So who knows? I was close to buying on but it wasnt exactly what I wanted, glad I waited....

I like the idea of the 3-18 model hopefully it is compact like tge leupold mark 6. It is in the same price range and I would take the vortex anyday over the leupold

VHS-4310 Viper HS-T 6–24x50 Riflescope with VMR-1 Reticle (MRAD) $629.99

This is what I have been waiting for. Count me in for 2 when they become available.

Yeah, Im thinking the same. I have the 4-16 on my 308, I may shuffle it to my 223, and put the 6-24 on the 308.

Man Vortex is doing a really good job with their line. I had their 1-6x and would love to run one with an MRAD reticle. The new 4.5-27x and 3-18x will make their way to some of my future builds.

Umm interesting, they do them for $150. You info is wrong.

Which of the new razors are FFP?

All of them.

That is interesting, as I was given information from Vortex folks staffing the booth at the last SHOT Show. Thank you.

Everything else you said is wrong. Did they tell you that they have no manufacturing/service facilities on this side of the water? Who told you their blanket policy is to replace instead of fix? They fix everything first, replacement is always the last option if its that badly damaged. I just don't understand why people spread info they know nothing about.

I have personal knowledge of several folks that have sent scopes back for varying defects. To a person, each and every one of them received a new scope. Every one of them. Perhaps I made an incorrect assumption, but I am not so sure. Perhaps they do have some limited service facilities, perhaps not. I admit that I was completely wrong on the reticle swap, and was relaying flawed information, obtained from the horse's mouth. As for the other, I based that off personal experience.

Fuck!! Man I just bought me a new Razor 5-20 EBR-2B scope!!! Oh well, I guess there is always going to be something newer and nicer constantly coming out... I'm interested to see how the 4.5-27 turns out.

Lots of cool stuff! I need to get to Vegas and make some money.

Will the current razor be discontinued.....the 5-20x50 is actually a pretty nice scope for the $

I like how we are starting to see much longer magnification ranges. Lower low ends while still getting higher high ends.

Anyone have pics of these and their reticles?
