amax blows smk out of the water & BC is better... amax 168's is king in the AR-10 world IMO... if I had the money right now I would purchase 1k of them as they are UBER hard to find.

ive tried the 178's and I had much better luck with the 168's with my 1:10 twist... you will be just fine with 168's if under 800yards or less...

Didnt know they were so hard to find. I picked up 900 (9 boxes) from Oakland Tactical here on the hide a ways back when EVERYTHING seemed impossible to get. Glad I got the 168's then because they will be fired out of my 16" LWRC REPR one day.
