I think they are trying to mirror Cheaper than dirt's buisness model.

Holy Crap! I've always liked Brownells and thought of them as one of the best companies to buy from. Charging dang near double price for ammo, just because you have it in stock, is not cool. Not one bit.

@#$%!!! FGMM 300WM for almost $5/round makes me VERY glad I reload and have ample supplies on hand.

I sure hope to hell that's a misprint because I'd hate to see Brownells start down the slippery slope toward Cheaper Than Dirt's class/style of business.

Tell them to stick that shit right up their fucking ass. I mean, 5-6 bucks a round for 338 lapua is exorbitant and all, but at least you are getting a piece of $2.50 brass and a 50 cent bullet. But $5 a round for cheap ass Federal brass and a bullet that ain't worth a fucking turd? Like I said, fuck Brownells and their opportunism. Just don't buy it.

What is cheaper than dirt's business model? All I know is that a few years ago, I checked them and they really aren't cheaper than dirt

You just described it. When a panic hits, immediately double to quadruple your prices so you will be the only place left with anything in stock. Then you have the market cornered.

Nice. Oh well, at least they aren't selling eggs or gasoline.

Lol. If they did the eggs would be rotten, and gas stale. I guess that's why they stick with selling MRE'S and tactical bacon.

I received an email regarding, FGMM 300wm was now in stock. The picture posted above was the page that the email was linked. Whew, 95.00 for 20 rounds would of totally sucked ass.

Good thing that was a glitch. Made me hesitant for the future of my .300wm at the range.
