Finally unloaded enough firearms and accessories to buy a GAP 10 - it will make a great Christmas present for 2014 ;) They seemed to think it would be faster than 10 months, but I won't hold them to that.

Specs:
All Black
20" Barrel
Badger Mini FTE Break
Noveske Switchblock
Magpul PRS

...maybe I'll take up knitting

c4xplsv, looks like we have similar taste. I put a deposit down just two weeks ago myself. Only difference with mine is that I'm getting the Geissle HS-DMR trigger and the barrel, PRS, and grip will be FDE. I'm expecting Santa Claus to bring it also ;)

Nice. I debated on barrel length and brake over and over again. Eventually I just had to make a choice - now it's set in stone so I can quit worrying about it :)

Great choice. I was shooting a 12x12" swinging steel plate with mine the other day at 640 yards. I have a 20" barreled .308. Any way it was easy and four different shooters were making hits including my daughter who has never shot a .308 before. I'm gonna stretch it to a 1,000 next time out. It shoots better than I do I think. My daughters 24 year old boyfriend who is a Marine had never shot it before and shot a ragged one hole group at a 100 the other day, five shots. Best gasser I've ever owned.

Shoottothrill, you using 175s or 155s? Let me know how it does at 1,000.

Awesome! Want a GAP10 so bad. Didnt have the cash and started a build of my own. Its no GAP 10 but its my GAP10 :D

interested in this as well

CK_32, I definitely watched that video several times before putting money down. It is downright awesome! The problem is that Tyler does his 1000 yds shots using a 6mm Creedmoor. That's fine and dandy, but this is going to be a He-Man 308 rig for me. Right now, I'm interested in knowing if people get better luck with 175s or 155s.

I shoot only 175's so far. I wanted a go to long range round and in the .308 I felt the 175 was it. I don't reload for it at this time. I've been shooting the Copper Creek gas gun load made specifically for the Gap 10, or Federal FGMM. I dialed 5.1 mills to it the 640 yard target and I have a 100 yard zero. I think a 1000 will be doable with this load no problem. I also picked up some Asym Precision 175 gr. the other day, but have not shot it yet. I hear its like shooting hand-loads.

Shoottothrill, yeah, I'm leaning towards the 175s too. My wife uses them in her 308 bolt gun so I will not feel guilty buying several 500 rounds packs of them LOL!
