RCBS ChargeMaster 1500 questions

I've seen it work magic on rifle loads but does anyone have any experience loading pistol loads? Since some of the charges are 4.0-4.7 how does it handle low amounts of powder? Does it automatically go into trickle mode? Just wondering how it handles the job.

At 3.5 gr of bullseye it does the same actions as 47 gr of Retumbo. Fast and then trickle.

I used the old style RCBS unit to load 200 pistol rds one day, can honestly say it was a big waste of time. A powder measure, drop, thrower, whatever you call one will achieve the same results with ball powder in a fraction of the time. But if you don't have one???? It will work.

Agreed, most pistol powders drop very accurately with a powder measure.
