Great win Oklahoma against a great Alabama team.

Oklahoma flat whooped our butts. The only two places I have ever lived was Tulsa, OK and Dothan, AL so I have always wanted to see OU and OSU play Alabama and Auburn. I pull for all 4 teams during the season, but my ultimate allegiances lie to my home state of Alabama.
OU flat out played Alabama. That was the best game I saw them play all year. To me, the difference was their defense. They played so well......and it showed. Alabama's defense was so confused at times.
I wanted it to be a good game, I just wish the scores were reversed

Maybe this OU victory will shut up some of the SEC homers concerning Stoops comments earlier this year.
I would say for a team out of a conference that can't play defense seven sacks and four turnovers is pretty darn good.
Barry Switzer use to say, "speed kills" when he ran the wish bone. Maybe the up tempo speed offensive of OU was too much for Bama beef to contend with......45 points against an SEC defense......damn!

Uh oh . Here we go. I was afraid of this..... Alabama loses and it suddenly becomes all about an overrated SEC. SEC will have more bowl wins at the end. I just hope Mizzou picks up the pace a little.
Folks gotta step back and look forward logically to next year, and avoid stupidity that betrays a skinful of Dutch courage.
Unfortunately, many are incapable of approaching the results of such a game in a mature and reasoned fashion.
While I do not condone the actions of that woman (who was obviously VERY intoxicated), people who aren't exactly Alabama or SEC fans are posting this video all over Facebook as if no fan has ever acted this way.
She should be ashamed of herself, I am not denying that, but if people think she is the only fan of a team to act like an ass, they only need to actually buy a ticket and attend their preferred team's game.

Oklahoma beat Alabama fair and square and deserves the bragging rights. Oklahoma fans should be proud if their team. Posting these videos and trying to paint their opposition's fans as crazed lunatics only serves to stoke the fire that they act like is only on one side of the fence.

This being the only thread devoted to the recent Sugar Bowl, here it went, not as an attack, but as a general observation about fans everywhere. Believe me, we know all about ugly behavior in the stands. Hell, we practically invented the concept.
SEC,..Big 12,...Big 10,..who cares? All are just football teams,..one team lines up in front of the other and one walks away the victor.
OU was talked down by everybody,..predicted to lose by everybody,...and just happened to play their best game of the season and thumped Alabama. It is as simple as that. OU has lost many games they should have won,..I still remember Boise State. Its just the way the game is played and the way things turn out.
Simple fact is that OU beat Alabama and looked damned good doing it. Boomer Sooner!!
