It's going to be a tactical style rifle. McMillan A5 stock, Douglas 26" barrel. 6.5 Creedmoor. Just wondering what considered to be the best tactical style trigger? thanks.
My smith recommends them. I know a few guys he's built rifles for and they shoot lights out. He said I could order any barrel I wanted but in the end he thought the Douglas was just as good as any of the rest. I priced most every barrel maker out there, they're all with in $100.00 of each other. I guess that about sums it up.
Check out Huber Concepts. These guys make a 2-stage trigger that is fantastic. In my opinion it rivals the 2-stage AI triggers. They are not adjustable but they come in different pull weights.

I had Bug Holes build a Rifle for me last year and I was going to have a Huber put on and he recommended a CG Extreme. What a sweet trigger it is. It's a little spendy but hey you only live once.
I put Timney triggers on my other two rifles. They work fine but I think sooner than later I will switch them over also.
Been Very happy with the Shilen Trigger in mine. No complaints and I'm kind of a whore for nice triggers. Tried it based on a friend's recommendation and I'm happy with it. It's not all wiz bang fancy but it's simple, crisp, and consistent.

I put Jewel in everything I can. Good solid all stainless steel trigger that just flat out works. I like my triggers light (< 16oz) so they suit me well.
