It's going to be a tactical style rifle. McMillan A5 stock, Douglas 26" barrel. 6.5 Creedmoor. Just wondering what considered to be the best tactical style trigger? thanks.

I have no issues with the accu-trigger in my savages or the Jewells in my Remingtons.

I run a timney with no problems and why a douglas bbl

My smith recommends them. I know a few guys he's built rifles for and they shoot lights out. He said I could order any barrel I wanted but in the end he thought the Douglas was just as good as any of the rest. I priced most every barrel maker out there, they're all with in $100.00 of each other. I guess that about sums it up.

Check out Huber Concepts. These guys make a 2-stage trigger that is fantastic. In my opinion it rivals the 2-stage AI triggers. They are not adjustable but they come in different pull weights.

Those look really good, I bookmarked the site, Thanks.

I had Bug Holes build a Rifle for me last year and I was going to have a Huber put on and he recommended a CG Extreme. What a sweet trigger it is. It's a little spendy but hey you only live once.

I put Timney triggers on my other two rifles. They work fine but I think sooner than later I will switch them over also.

Been Very happy with the Shilen Trigger in mine. No complaints and I'm kind of a whore for nice triggers. Tried it based on a friend's recommendation and I'm happy with it. It's not all wiz bang fancy but it's simple, crisp, and consistent.

Old Remington is top. Huber or CG Extreme are top for two stage.
Good luck with your project.

A shilen is what I have in my 308. No issues at all, just asking to see what others use. Thanks for all the feedback.

CG Xtreme, without a second thought. If Tom made one for Howas I'd be the first to buy.
