What's your take on Marks barrel? He did a barrel install for me, he does some nice work.

Just visiting his shop and meeting him in person sells his barrels alone. His reputation proceeds himself everywhere. Don't get me wrong, lots of fantastic barrel makers out there but Mark is Legendary.

I googled him but there is no website. Is he standalone or associated with others? How would you find out more about his products?

One of the best looking rifles I've seen in a long time! What a beauty, congrats. Great glass too.

At first I was like yea I got a 6.5 Creedmoor AX too......then I noticed the rear end!

Bravo, looks like that bastard child came out perfect!

I was wondering if you were going to post a pic on the hide, believe me guys you should see it in person and the balance of the rig is perfect! Nice to here it shot well with factory, can't wait to see what Zach's reloads turn out. I can't wait for Patrick finishes my build, his quality is outstanding.

Thanks Sully, I can't wait for it either! Thanks for the shout out!

Outstanding work - aesthetically, I love it and I'm sure it shoots like a flippin' house on fire.

Holy crap! I've always liked the idea of the AX but never liked the ass end. I can't just get into the standard AX stock, however love the thumbhole of the 2.0. I guess it's time to go from fiberglass stocks to a chassis finally.

Really nice setup!!!

I like thumbhole stocks and it looks like a very good solution!

Seeing our style at the top of this thread, what are some other ideas you would like to see from P. Jones?

Sotor,

I emailed you guys in regards to a paint job.. I gotz an ai they needs some p Jones love in the near future. With they being said.. I'm actually embarrassed to post this but on modern warfare 3 there is a pattern called autumn that looks really nice!

Would also like to see a tiger stripe multi cam pattern.

Range update:

We just did our initial load research. The best factory ammo is the Hornady 140gr. AMAX, which shot better then .250 MOA with 3 groups of 5 at 100 yards in climate controlled conditions, we will get better specs on the Mutant when we stretch its legs out here soon. That being said, a similar build just completed by P.Jones with nearly the same set up in 7 wsm shot a 2.5" group at 960 yards in overcast and mild wind conditions at our ranch. Sent chills down my spine.
