Was just wondering if it's my wonderfully shitty Afghan internet, my company's filters and other nonsense, or if it's an actual forum feature/issue. On some threads I can give a particular post a "like", and others it doesn't show up as an option. Here's an example:

I have the ability to give a like on this thread:
http://www.snipershide.com/shooting...lawsuit-defense-fund-support-our-efforts.html

I cannot on this one:
http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/snipers-hide-bolt-action-rifles/223193-tacticalrifles-net.html

Is it something done by the OP when they start the thread? I'm looking as I start this thread, and I'm not seeing anything that would be considered an enable/disable option for that. Running FF 27.0.1 on a Windows system, but I've noticed on my personal Mac/Chrome as well.

I have the same issue Bro. Although seeing as I'm just a short ways from you, I can't eliminate the Taliban Internet as the culprit. I just don't see how our crappy internet would affect that feature.

I was thinking it was an administrator control or something.

Although, two Marines speculating on how a computer program works probably isn't going to get us very far. I guess we need the Air Force after all. ;)

I believe it's part of the programming, I often see people stating they're looking for the "like" button in the tech forums ( equipment, N.V., etc ) while it seems to be available in the team room and FOB

Hmm...now I can "like" at least some of the threads in the tech forums, IDK

Seems like a per-forum setting that someone could spend a minute making sure is turned on for every forum. This has been a problem since the forum software change a long time ago.
