ANOTHER FAIL!!!!!!! In 1999 the MOS for a sniper was 8541, it didn't change to 0317 until 6 or 7yrs ago. Plus, here he is again claiming to be an Infantry Plt Sgt (0369) with "C 1/7" which is at 29 Palms, while simultaneously claiming to be at Lejeune???????????

HOWEVER, I am confident that someone can access the class roster for class 2-99 and start narrowing down how many "Eddie G...." there are :)))))

Doubt it even matters, There's no way in hell he ever went through SSBC with a shooting form like that. he was probably in the reserves.
 
Im pretty quiet on the hide here, but being a prior Marine myself, I want this guy to apologize for stolen valor!! Fess up Eddie super sniper! Also, marine snipers go out in pairs, who was your spotter to confirm that terrorist kill??

My best group at 500 yards was about 3.5 inches for 3 shots. Other than that, I am hitting around 4.5 to 5 inch groups. But then again, I don't shoot as much as others and most of my shooting is hitting yotes where you don't have to be perfect.

But given that, I would challenge Eddie to a match.

Well I see that he deleted the one vid, but he also just made a comment on the other one about PNW ammo or whatever it was. Trying to talk up his experience and backing of TR.NET. comment was made as of 1730.
 
What is also amazing is that "he stands corrected" the speed on that ammo was 2555fps... I don't chrono very often but I've never seen results that were exactly what the manufacture says bare in mind I'm at 7200' but really!?

btw what used to be 7 or 9 videos (I don't remember) is down to 2! The BS ammo add and the "ship tour"

Yeah, he's taken down quite a bit of content in the past few days as it's been scrutinized. If you haven't watched that PNW ammo video, it's even worse than the one with the quarter.

NO FUCKING WAY this guy is legit in ANY of his claims. At a minimum he'd have to be a 15yr USMC vet, putting him into SNCO/Senior SNCO range. So worst case and he was slow up the ladder, how many Gunnys do you know that act like this??? If he did HALF the shit he claimed he'd be on a little faster track and could be at least a Top. My Gunny or Top would have low-crawled through an Ethernet cable to seize my heartbeat for talking shit about their shooting and service records. They sure as hell wouldn't be deleting videos and hiding.

For the guys tech-savvy enough to save this shit before he pulls hit, if possible capture the comments from TR thanking this assclown for demonstrating the "capabilities" of their rifles. THAT right there demonstrates the bullshit manner in which they conduct business.
 
Looking for any 2nd Mar Div class rosters and class plaques/awards, start at the Scout Sniper school house located on Camp Geiger not Stone Bay I think they go back to the late 80's or early 90's. However those guys tend to be busy and looking for this guy would be a waste of everyone's time. Eddie was using a small Podunk range close to Cherry Point Air Station, if he truly is the operator of his claims he would be working Stone Bay or Quantico.
 
Being outed on the internet from which you created the fraud has got to hurt!!! If this guy was who he said he was he would have provided proof of his status already and provided a defensive of his actions; but, since he has deleted videos and slinked away he has already proven himself to be a fraud. I believe that is what you call "check" and just waiting for another stupid move to corner him and call "check mate" - you lose! Just give up dude, too many wannabe's can fool the public that has never served, but playing that with a bunch military guys with a variety of tactical experiences will prove what you are - a total FRAUD.

I looked through my old class roster and any info I had from Stone Bay. I've been trying to reach out to some old friends that went through SSBC at different times as well. I'm guessing because his handle is "Eddieg1979" then he was born in 79 which puts him 1 year younger than I. So far, nothing has turned up. Then again, I didn't expect it to. One look at either one of those videos and it's not hard to tell he never went through the program.

On the vid of John Plaster explaining a Ghillie, Asshat Eddie had a comment trash talking some of the airsofters etc. In that post he claimed to be a "0317 class 2-99 and 0369 C 1/7"

We know that in 1999 he'd have been "awarded" the 8541 MOS, not 0317. I don't know how East Coast runs their schools. Quantico is best-known, but I'm guessing Lejeune runs a Division SSBC like Pendleton and Okinawa? This is one of those very rare times when it's harder for us Marines to track a guy down because we don't have a Central Repository for Sniper School like the Army does at Benning.

Someone still plugged into the system should be able to check around to the schools for the different 2-99 rosters. We KNOW the bitch is lying, so I don't expect to pull his name from this, it's more a matter of proving the negative and establishing that this shit bag did NOT graduate SSBC. I'd truly be amazed if he even fucking served at all with the way he conducts himself.

yeah that right there shows he's a poser. They didn't go 0317 until 04 I believe. you never hear anyone that was in and got an 8541 that has stayed in past the change say it as 0317. they usually still call it 8541.

So he was an infantry unit leader as well huh? I guess Eddie was a regular Rambo it loos like.

Exactly, I think the change may have happened around 06, but I was out. I wasn't a sniper, just an 8531 and 0369, and if they changed the 8541 MOS I don't know if 8531 (PMI) is something different now also. Proving a negative is a pain in the ass, but there's only a handful of SS schools in the Marine Corps, even including Hawaii, so it's do-able with the right guy with the right contacts.

Whats interesting is if you look at his google plus page, there was a whole video tutorial about painting up airsoft 'sniper' rifles in multicam. its now been taken down, but i have a screen shot of it up in the main thread about the lawsuit if you want to check it out. he's altering his Google plus page too, as that video is gone but a 'critique' of someone else's ghillie is online where he talks like he is an authority is still posted. i screenshot'd a few interesting things, will add pictures to this post in a bit.

They sure look the same, I don't know anyone that has a bipod that far back, what are ghe chances of the 2 being different.

Yes Sir,

He also pulled the vid of (him?) hiding (badly) in the woods wearing a variety of different camo patterns. In the comments for that one is where I believe he made reference to being "OPFOR" for both 1/7 and for 3/8 which are on opposite coasts from each other. Once I raised that issue here (the Hide) he pulled that video as well. With so many threads going, I honestly can't keep up with what has been posted in which thread.

A guy that's even a little bit legitimate wouldn't be pulling his content at the first bit of scrutiny.

ETA: When I was reading those comments on youtube I about pissed myself reading the ones from Marc. I believe 8541tactical also gave him a pretty good pee-pee smacking as well.

LMFAO!! There is no Sniper I, II, and III in the Corps. There is SSBC and SSAC, and I believe now there is an Urban course as well unless they're still using the advanced course as urban engagements. I'm starting to wonder if this guy just went through a local precision rifle course. I know sometimes they label those type courses as "sniper". if he did go through a PR class, it must have been a shitty one or he didn't learn anything cause his form strait up sucks.

I think he was referring to a course at Stone Mountain Shooting Range. I would have thought with his accolades he would be instructing it.

I've lost count, how many MOS's does this guy have 4 or 5.

I hold it very dear the fact I was able to do so much stupid fun shit as an MSG on foreign postings and somehow not create an international incident.

Shooting .1 MOA/500 yds seems possible to me compared to the fun I had and still maintained a sterling record save perhaps that one incident in 1988 when the Marine van forced a mili-man car to rollover in Moscow. No injuries thankfully but it looked like a clown car emptying save it was on its side.

Best not to pick on this delusional character anymore he may end up making things tough for his mom as he is living in her basement.

The second one is outright hilarious. It's eddieG giving a course on how to paint an airsoft 'sniper' rifle. I'm betting this is something he has a LOT of experience at, and is the core of his 'skillset'.



This next post is a real curious matter for me. Given how questionable his claims of service are, this one is the one that pisses me off the most. He seems to talk about specifics. Again, stolen valor concerns here.

There is/was (at least when I was in), an urban course and a mountain course in addition to SSBC and the advanced course.
 
Just when you think you have seen the low'ness of shooters, yet another one proves you wrong. Like the old saying, you can B/S the fans, but not the players. That video would not even B/S a FNG,.,.. fan. My guess is the folks that put him up to this, are grabbing at straws to hedge their bet in the coming fight. Piss poor choice of an actor, tactics, and presentation, in this day an age for sure.

.mil or not, claiming schools, kills, and all the other BS that he is spreading is almost as bad as the ROTC kid that puts on a uniform and says he's the real deal!
 
Just asked my brother-n-law that is in the Army what OPFOR means and he replied "Opposition force also known as the enemy". So why is this eddie keep talking about opfor and chit?
