My nephew sent me a msg a bit ago.

So I'm in class this week in Raleigh training for week and I met a guy that was an Army Ranger for 11 years and trained as a sniper alongside Chris Kyle! Pretty cool stories from a pretty cool guy.

I told him to just go along with it, but something like that is typically hard to verify and there are plenty of people out there making wild claims.

So here's the question: Do RANGERs and SEALs sniper train together?

My understanding is that Navy has its own program . Having said that I heard of Seals doing Pathfinder School , and I have heard of Army running HALO and HAHO courses that were open to other services . If it was a joint class that would be feasible but not Sniper School .

More than likely, the "Ranger" part is also bullshit.

Not true. Had many a buddy at Hunter Air Field l, 1st batt. That trained 2 or 3 times a year with SEAL teams. This was in the 90's.
