Can I post about gun control or is that a political topic?

Firearms law discussion on a pro firearms site seems like a good fit. But then again it would require maturity. So maybe ask the Grand Poobah.

Tone of the post matters. Also while the first post may be okay you should know that shit can spiral out of control here pretty fast. I say go for it though. Personally CCW permit should be like a drivers license. But what will happen if it is like that is states like California will lower the speed limit to 5mph through out the state making it basicly null and void.
anyway lets hear what you have to say.

The no politics rule was suspended. The reasoning is that most of us are on the same page, and that allowing political posts would expose those who aren't, thus making them easier to "manage". ;)

Seriously? As someone who was hit by the banhammer for a political post I'm glad to hear it.

I've been a conservative Republican since I was about ten years old. I just wish guys like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell were conservative Republicans too.

What about religion?

Well since our rights are changing with the times, yes we can get upon knees and beg for the government to grant us a ne privilege. I hope Trump actually destroys the parties.

I'm with you brother. I always thought being a Republican meant you loved freedom and personal liberty, personal responsibility, capitalism, and the Constitution. Well that's maybe 1/5 (MAYBE) of Republicans in congress, and 0% of Dems. So yeah, time to start over.

If you simply want to discuss a law or potential new law, have at it.

If you want to 'have a conversation' about gun laws and safety because we need to think of the children, then the answer is simply, no.

The faster we all realize that when it comes to our rights (not just firearms related) and we come across someone wanting to 'talk' about them, we need to ridicule them and end it with a strong, simple NO. That's it. Stop trying to negotiate. Stop trying to prove your point. Stop trying to figure out what this 'common sense' bullshit is about, and beat it into anyone's mind that the answer is always, NO.
