Night Vision Fir HS324 9Hz advice

This is my first foray into thermal, Is the above a good buy for $2k. Or am I better holding out for a Flir M24 or something like that. My needs are hunting (withing 500m) and clearing areas of forest for game animals.

I would hold off and get at least a 30hz. Thermal. For another thousand you can find a really nice clear thermal that has a good core to make heat stand out.

The Leupold LTO runs at 30 Hz, It is a pretty useful little Gizmo.

And I'm sorry but the Leupold LTO is not very impressive compared to a $2-$3k unit. But I will agree if you are on a budget they will work at shorter distances well enough to get you by.

Yes he was talking about a 9 Hz model,, but I was replying to the comment you made about a 30 Hz model
