Gas block adjusted correctly?

I'm new to adjustable gas blocks. Looking for for confirmation and or advice.

I adjusted the gas block per Seekins instructions. Tuned it specifically for running with a supressor. Works great. Brass is lightly tossed at the 3:00-3:30, locks back on last round, brass looks much cleaner and perceived recoil/cycle motion seems much tamer. Couple of concerns: 1) I'm only 3/4 of a turn from having the block completely closed off. 2) Without the suppressor there's not enough gas to cycle the action, much less lock back on the last round. This rifle will be run suppressed (dedicated night hog hunting rifle) so I don't "need" it to run unsuppressed, but is this normal? Getting it to run un-suppressed requires almost 2 full turns on the block and then it's way over gassed with the suppressor. Do you literally tune the block to one or the other? Is it unusual that I'm only 3/4 of a turn from closing off the block completely?

Specs:
12.5" ARP 6.8 SPC II barrel
Seekins Precision AGB
Noveske Gen I upper/lower
AAC SDN-6

Thanks!!!

Got it. I was hoping to find a happy medium.

You can. Just set the throttle where it locks back most of the time unsuppressed and live with beat up brass if you can find it with the can attached. What the fuck is the big deal? NO such thing as a free lunch. Get over it.
