    Seems like these days when the news does a man in the street interview to get reaction to some story or event more often than not the interviewed person will be of a "preferred" type class?

    The person may be an accented immigrant, perhaps a flamboyant type, maybe hooped ear lobes with a spike piercing or two and blue hair, or a homeless man. Sure enough there are frequently the majority population called upon.

    I was kind of thinking this was just my tin foil hat. I even doubted myself because I started thinking that the news was purposely putting "stereotypical" personalities up when they want to portray something in a negative light, perhaps having someone with bad teeth wearing a wife beater get interviewed about his "gun rights".

    Is it my tin foil nature or is it something else?......

    That's one thing but perhaps if people were familiar with S. Boston does it not strike one as a little odd that when news occurs there often the man in the street is a person of the "preferred" class yet S. Boston, though getting more diverse, is still kind of "homogeneous".

    I mean "Whitey", to use a well known resident of that enclave, could have committed the murder and be willing to confess to the details of the crime on air but I think they would dismiss him to get the point of view of a "flamboyant" with pierced nipples that was a block away and heard someone else say.....

    Its like I'm being gas lighted to believe minority existence, belief, and culture are the majority.

    well its exactly the same thing with LGBT........all you hear about is all these gay pride days, and queer marches and what not, non stop coverage in the media.......its to the point that most americans think the percentage of gay people is around 25% of the population.....when in reality its only around 4%

    I have just talked to people about what they were doing over the next couple weeks, one gal told me of a "pride" March an how she wanted to go. I said when is there going to be a monogonomous heterosexual March I could go to?

    Some of the the nicest places I've been with the best food.....

    Its a weird era we live in though it follows a similiar pattern, wasn't Gulf of Tonkin a scam that resulted in 58K American dead?

    My ears were kind of twitching about that incident in Portland a week ago. It just seems everyone involved was "too perfect" for the narrative - soldier, earthy crunchy hero, detestable villain, damsels in distress, even a vile white man that steels from the dead hero soldier.

    Im sorry for the suspicion but it's aimed at the media and government not my neighbors and fellow citizens. Much more healthy for a Republic rather than the other way around.

    Fake news or fake outrage? Depends on one’s perspective.

    The “fake news” conspiracy group seem to believe they now have solid evidence of CNN International creating a pro-Muslim narrative for a live shot hours after the most recent London Terror attack.

    In a YouTube video titled “CNN staging the narrative before making report, they are truly Fake News!” it appears that reporter Becky Anderson directs some self-described “Muslim Mothers” to stand behind her as they rally support for London Police, who responded so bravely to the attacks of Saturday night.

    Anderson is a seasoned veteran who, according to her bio, “is based in CNN’s Abu Dhabi bureau, allowing her a distinctive regional perspective on some of today’s most important news stories, including the deepening humanitarian crisis in Syria, continuing unrest in the wake of the Arab Spring and the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian peace process.” So she’s no rookie looking to make a quick splash.

    For those not familiar with live news production, it is actually not that uncommon for hosts and producers to arrange protesters or pedestrians behind reporter to provide a varied background. Sources familiar with this live shoot tell Mediaite that the protesters (“Muslim Mothers”) were already very near the location and the Police simply allowed them to move behind Ms. Anderson and crew.

    That said, there is reason to fairly critique this as “editorializing” the shoot and not just reporting the news. And in a climate where CNN is feeling a lot of criticism — most of which is unfounded — from the conservative corners of the Internet, this footage won’t help their cause.

    We reached out to CNN for explanation and they provided the following statement:

    “This story is nonsense. The group of demonstrators that was at the police cordon was being allowed through by officers so they could show their signs to the gathered media. The CNN crew along with other media present simply filmed them doing so.”

    I was watching MeAgain Kelly interview Putin.

    It was like a cat playing with a mouse and no, MeAgain wasnt the predator.

    Our politicians are so childlike compared to Putin. i think he realizes Trump is the only one crazy enough to perhaps go toe to toe with him not out of a true killers intent but more so as a defense of ego and perhaps a level of Patriotism.

    Trump unlike our other politicians may actually harbor love for this country and if nothing else Russians know the power of Patriotism.

    I dont agree with Putiin's leadership style but is there any doubt if Soros was fucking with Russia the way Soros is fucking with the US, that Soros would already have had a taste of plunonium tea?

    I've been told that the gays are actually only 1% and the other 3% just got sucked into it.

    I leave folks' preferences to them, and really don't give it much thought unless they go out of their way to rub their issues in my face.

    I don't like exhibitionists, gay, straight, or any other stripe insisting that my day requires reeducation about their special views.
