Lack of anti-rotation on rail....no-go?

Ok, so I'm slowly building up my grendel build. I'm looking at handguards/rails now. I was looking at the SMOS GFY, but since I wouldn't be using a SMOS/Noveske upper, I wouldn't be using the anti rotation pin. Would that be a no-go for a precision-ish rifle? I'm also looking at a SLR Solo and Faxon Streamline.
