Proof Steel LR308/AR 10 barrel

It's the same Barrel they use on their carbon fiber barrels. I called them on Friday and asked if they would do a custom AR-10 barrel for me using a Bartlein blank unfortunately that was a No-Go. Im sure thier SS barrels will shoot MOA or less.

I had looked into proof originally and then scared away from it from this review:

Summary= tolerances were too tight, there ended up being feeding issues for this guy and customer serve was medicore at best. If I had my choice of a stainless barrel- I am not sure proof is at the top of my list. If I were to settle of proof, it would be w/ a black friday special type situation on the right CF style barrel.

Never had any of those issues with mine. It feeds, ejects and shoots great!

Well, I shot today's local precision rifle match with the LR-308/proof barrel and it did not disappoint. Groups have been from .5 of an inch to 1.25 with a single flyer, which I think is me rushing the shots. I have to say the Superlative Bleed off gas block does a great job on keep gas out the shooters face while running suppressed. The Geissele DMR trigger once adjusted properly is a great trigger.

The Hornady 155 ELD-M is a good bullet that is showing a lot of promise for this rifle. Coupled with RE-15 and CCI BR2s it shooting good with SDs of less than 10FPS.

Overall I am very happy with the overall out come of this rifle and how it preforms.
