    For those of you looking for a solid large format AR10 receiver set for cheap Primary Arms is running a deal on the Aero Precision M5 308 Gen 2 stripped lower receiver for $185.00 and you get a free AeroPrecision M5 308 stripped upper for free through July 31st. Cant beat that deal.

    I grabbed another for that price. Mine shipped yesterday. $194 shipped for the set.

    I also grabbed a FailZero NiB 308 BCG on sale at Primary Arms for like $199 and a Wilson 18" 308 fluted match 416R SS barrel for $140 on sale at JSE. I'm gonna do a 308 budget build test to see how this thing shoots. Wilson barrels have all shot lights out for me in the past. WOA uses Wilson blanks for their barrels. Will be doing a full build and testing thread once the parts get here. Picked up a fixed A2 stock for it for $40. Links below for the on sale parts I just grabbed. JSE has the 18" Wilson barrel in non fluted for $120 and fluted for $140. Absolute steal. They say they were sample barrels. For that price who cares what they were.

    After the testing is done I'll probably sell the barrel and put a Rainier Ultramatch 6.5cm +2 gas barrel on it. Been wanting to test that barrel for some time now to see how it stacks up to my custom Bartleins.

    Looks like the 18" fluted version of above that I got is now sold out. The non fluted version for $20 less is a unreal deal also.

    Aim Surplus has their NIB 308 BCGs for 179 I believe and they are in stock. I snagged one of the Wilson barrels as well but will probably turn it into a 16" with rifle gas. Snagged an Aero 12" handguard off here as well. You guys are costing me money. Thanks PADom

    Looks like I have another barrel on its way...lol. Rainier released their new 22" Ultramatch 6.5cm MOD2 match barrel with +2 gas and a TiN barrel extension. I have an email into them to find out what blank they are using. Their previous Ultramatch 6.5cm barrels said in the description they used Shillen blanks but this new barrel doesnt specify. Looking forward to testing it out.

    Well that's awfully sexy looking. I may look to building a 6 Creed down the road but have to finish this 308 first. Carbine 308, 22in 6mm of some variety. This is like a whole new drug.

    If they respond to you please let me know what they say. I've narrowed it down to a JP, Rainier ultramatch or custom bartlein. I'm curious to know who they're using if it's no longer Shilen.

    I am curious as well but if it's anything like the 3 other Rainier Ultramatch Shillens I have in the safe Im sure it will shoot. If it shoots like my custom Bartlein for $150 less it will be a steal.

    Custom Bartlein is the way to go for best accuracy. JP is at the top of my list for best off the shelf barrel with Rainier being a close second. Can't wait to see how their new barrel stacks up..

    For anyone else looking...the wilson barrel is Armalite pattern not DPMS! Mine will probably be up for sale in the forums before too long if JSE isn't willing to take it back.
