Gunsmithing anyone chambering for the .224 Valkyrie - bolt gun

Short action Customs is pretty awesome, and this round is an awesome round. I love the dumbass that want to be negative over someone wanting something new. There is always those douche' bags that have nothing to do than be negative. Pretty sure MPA already has one on the market. Good luck. I am building a 20-inch carbon fiber AR in this.

I agree - i was hoping this forum wouldnt attract the "Call Of Duty" wannabes we see on AR15.com etc (they seem more worried about how you spend your own money more than you do, and htey think they know guns because they used em in COD) - but i guess i was too hopeful. I seen MPA did release a .224, i have a couple TL3 so was exploring just getting a barrel for it ... thanks for the lead will keep exploring.

I'm having Mark Chanlynn build mine. He has set aside a 22 caliber barrel for me. Big Horn Arms is going to come out with a 6.8 bolt face in early spring, so I'll mate it with one of their TL3 actions. Case of Federal 90gr GM ammo arrived yesterday and slowly picking up the pieces for the build.

what mags are y’all using for these? Standard aics or if I wanted to run aics mags could I use the 6Br kits?

I have a reamer coming, that's why I haven't advertised it yet since it's not here.
I also don't quite have the mag kits where I'd like them to be for a Valkyrie but we're getting close.

I went with a 22BR personally. Better speed, better brass, easier functionality within the TL3 and did I mention better brass?
