The move of the physical embassy is pending identification and construction of a new facility. The current consulate in Jerusalem is insufficient to meet the needs of an embassy, both in staff facilities and defensibility of the compound to support that level of a complex. So yes, it's delayed indefinitely while they move forward with putting up a new embassy facility, but that doesn't change the fact that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and is recognized as such by the US. The embassy will come later, I imagine contracts will be awarded and ground will be broken before 2019 arrives.

The US was arming terrorists in syria. That is fact. The Trump admin said they were stopping that and if I remember correctly it was said that it wasn't effective. Had russia not entered to help syria, I suspect we would still be arming the terrorists to try to remove assad. It looks like assad stays (at least for now), but we did get the benefit of moving massive amounts of arabs out of the ME and increased numbers of jews moving to israel.
