Carbon footprint??? How about carbon hoof print. The biomass she must shovel down that blow hole to support so many layers of lipids upon lipids itself could be an act of eco-terrorism.
I just installed a new surround sound system and this is the first thing I played on it. It must be loud because the neighbor across the street came over to see what I was doing.

"Easily" one of the best songs ever done, and the funny thing is is that they have so many of them. So up beat, so high energy !!! "Loved" cruising to their beat. Powerage cannot be beat.
I was a little late to the AC/DC party, so it was Live at Donnington that got me hooked. I saw them in person on the Stiff Upper Lip tour in April of 2001. What a show. They had a lift with a circular expanded metal top and about a foot high rail. Angus is playing guitar in the middle of it as they start to raise it. At what looks like 100' of extension - clear up in the rafters he flops on his side and starts pivoting on his hip and kinda running around the rail. Most ridiculous and awesome thing. Never missed a beat. You could see Phil Rudd smoking while he was hammering the shit out of the drums. The opening act was total garbage. They finally finish up their set and the stadium goes black. Angus fires up the opening chords to You Shook Me and all 25,000 people in the stadium stand up at once. I only saw one person sit for the next 2 1/2 hours. Without comparison, the best concert i have ever attended.
I saw AC/DC numerous times, Day on Green, Cow Palace and so on, every show was awesome. Nugent, Guns N Roses, Edgar Winter all put on great shows as well, but the best show I have ever seen was Alice Cooper. Basically a rock opera with an entire stage change for every song and some really cool illusions and magic tricks.
Seattle Coliseum 1978. Cheap Trick, AC/DC, then Ted Nugent. Fucking hands down THEE best concert ever. Mighta been some enhancers involved, but hey, everyone was doing it.

Ya, let's do this. The first time I saw AC/DC was the Highway to Hell tour. It was an excellent show. And loud. Did I tell you it was loud? It was fucking loud. I still hear the echo.
What a lineup... but putting the Allman Brothers with Emerson Lake and Palmer? Who saw that coming? That said, I love both bands. They just seem to be from opposite ends of the spectrum!

I'll put Iron Maiden in there with one of the best performances I've seen. It was hot as balls up in Chicago and Bruce Dickinson (their singer) never stopped moving, wearing cargo pants and a hoodie. We were sweating buckets in the stands, and have no idea how he didn't pass out.
That was the last bottle in existence at that time, which he'd brought as a sample prior to ramping up full production on it. He shared it with us at the table and autographed it.

I worked that show as a Stagehand.....made some BIG BUCKS. The loudest band I ever saw was Kansas in the Paramount/Seattle, probably about '77. We were in the back of the house, main floor and man, it was painful. Everything was clear/undistorted, but incredibly loud. ZZ Top was always supposed to be the loudest, but Kansas had 'em beat.

Definitely. He also pilots Iron Maiden's jet: "Ed Force One". There's some great videos of him as a pilot, including one where he took an Airbus up to play around with (He's a Boeing driver) and the Iron Maiden documentary "Flight 666" where he flew a charter flight full of Iron Maiden fans from London to Germany for a show IIRC. I had no chance keeping up with him talking aircraft, but my brother is a plane buff, so he carried our half of that discussion. When the talk transitioned to military armor I was in my element and we debated main battle tanks of the world for hours.
Yes.... I can personally atest to this. 1978 at the Hampton Colisium.. The WHO.... sitting about 30 feet from the stage. I still can't hear very well out of my right ear.
Most memorable concert: August Jam 1974. What a way to celebrate my 18th (could legally drink back then).

it was fun, neat etc. but not much good at anything other than starting conversations. It went down the road years ago.
