I have both Strelok (Basic) and just purchased Strelok Pro. Basic works perfectly. Strelok Pro with all information inputted (just as in basic) when I initiate Calculate, it only calculates elevation and not windage. In basic, when i initiate calculate, I get both elevation and windage. I'm running Strelok B&P on an IPOD 6 ver 10.3.2. I have not updated to IOS 11.

You dont see a value for the horizontal calculation or the whole line is missing? If you are looking at the table graph there is a setting that has to be checked for windage.

No value except zero which does not change regardless of input. Elevation works fine.

Outside a glitch of some sort the only thing I can think of would be if the wind direction is 0 degrees or 180 degrees. Either will give a zero wind hold regardless of wind speed.

Yes, I'm aware of that, so I inputted several crosswinds up to 20 mph velocity an nothing calculated. I believe it to be a problem with this particular program. Since I purchased it through the App Store and downloaded from same, what's the procedure for obtaining another, hopefully, properly functioning program? I hate being unable to deal without human interface.

Sounds like some kind of glitch. I use strelok pro some, but it's android. On my phone if I select "about" at the bottom of the screen, there is an option to send the app developer an email. I have read on other forums that he is generally quick to respond. Don't know if it will help you but it may be worth a shot

I emailed Borisov and he asked me to email the program to him - he'll check it out. I'll let you know how this turns out. Thanks for all the responses.

I have Strelok Pro on an older Note 3 and have no issues. On other apps, if there's an issue I usually uninstall app and reinstall after restarting phone. Might try that.

What I forgot to mention was that the problem occurs with the first rifle only. The second rifle calculates both elevation and windage - no problems. It's just the first.I haven't installed more than two, as yet. I'll try uninstall/reinstall first.

I added a third rifle - different than first. It functions correctly. For some reason, the first will not calculate windage. I will uninstall/reinstall.

Received a reply from Borisov - the problem he found was my input of 494 as the BC instead of .494 - the decimal makes a significant difference. I'll be more careful next time.

Not sure this thread is still active but....

I have a question about using DA or inputting weather data manually in the app. I'm using an iPhone 6 and comparing the two - DA and weather input numbers there is a slight difference; in the 100ths range, between the results. The DA number I get from an aviation app that uses data from a nearby airport.

So wondering what you guys use/prefer and what method is better.
