Oh, yeah, never mind.
hes the leader of a group that calls on its members to kill police officers. It seems to me that everyone who has posted so far is celebrating his death.
From what I read in the article he didn't see the world as a lot of us here do. On the other hand he did act on his convictions, which is something that I think is appreciated by most on this forum.
While it wasn't within the rule of law, I don't see anything obvious that warrants being dead. I don't think anyone would say, "hey, this guy jumped a fence to steal a flag and organized people for a cause they all agreed on but we disagree with. Let's shoot him."
Can you guys help me understand? Am I missing something?
All I know of this is from what I read in the link, so please spell it out.
Thanks,
Bob
Was he really one?I dont like seeing any American getting killed.
Thanks for the additional info, Mcameron. I'll check out the story a little more. I don't spend much time keeping up on current events.
You really didn't have to be a dick in your closing. That doesn't help anyone.
Enjoy the best you can,
Bob
And Army Jerry, I agree. Unless it's by due process or something like caught red-handed raping my daughter kind of stuff. If those Americans check out early OK, but mostly I agree.
That's a racist statement. Rape alone isn't a capital punishment crime.
I keep up with current events, and I know exactly what the BLM movement is. I know what it's purpose is, and I know that as an American that believes in freedom of speech I am appalled by the celebration of any individuals death. We should all be saddened by the death of another American Citizen. I believe that the path forward is not death but cooperation. Many movements are started in rage, and develop into a mature movement that becomes productive.
I wish that Frank would shut this section down. Many of the posters to these sections never contribute firearm related information to the forum. Many simply copy news stories and post inflammatory statements. Outsiders will view these posts and paint the entire forum as a bunch of racists simply because a few posts.
There was a time when adversaries gathered around a table in a bar to discuss their differences. Now everyone runs to their mouths behind their adversaries back. To get back to that time someone needs to take the high ground.
You could call it "live by the sword die by the sword".It seems to me that everyone who has posted so far is celebrating his death.

The only thing this inspires is to fight.

Some questions for you
- What is the connection between your belief in freedom of speech and being appalled by the celebration of any individual's death?
- The mockery of his death. I believe that they have as much right to speak as anyone else does. But the mockery of his death is sad.
- Why should we be saddened by the death of an individual that promotes hate, revenge, and anarchy; regardless of his citizenship?
- Because had he lived long enough he may have seen the error in his language, rather than pulling people apart he may have had a hand in bringing them together in a positive way.
- Why do you wish to cooperate with an organization that promotes hate, revenge, and anarchy?
- I have no with to cooperate with the organization, I am willing to hear their side and share my own in a non hostile manner.
Do you honestly believe that this: https://blacklivesmatter.com/about/what-we-believe/ will ever lead to anything productive?
How can any of us know the future. Do I know that it will? No. Do I hope that it will? Yes. Do I share their beliefs? No. Should we hate them? No. I do know that racism still exists in all levels of society. How do you square your love of freedom of speech and your desire to shut down this subforum because you do not agree with what's in here?
- Quite easily. I believe in all free speech. I believe it is a fundamental right. I wish these sections were shut down, not to prevent free speech, but because most posts in these sections have no relation to firearms. I believe that those who would seek to infringe on our second amendment rights would use these types of post to indict all of the rest of us.
Where is the requirement that participation in this subforum is conditional on participation in other subforums?
Exactly my point. These sections dilute the value of the forum. I come here to look at information about firearms. That is my interest. Are you a member of Black Lives Matter?
Nice try. I like that you are seeking to invalidate my comments by suggesting that I am trolling for BLM. Here is what I believe. All lives matter. Even the lives our our enemy matter. I believe that BLM is sorely misguided, and that they should look inwards to resolve issues surrounding race. I believe that more black children are killed by abortion that will ever be killed by police. I believe that members of this community and second amendment supporters would be far better off by trying to include all people of color. Comments in this thread will only serve to drive them away.
I don't expect anyone to share my opinion. I've spoken my piece and have no interest in furthering this section or this thread.
No, Sir. I believe this section has nothing to do with firearms. I believe what is posted here (these sections and posts) can be quite inflammatory. I think that some of the posts can and will be used against "us". Posts such as allow people to paint us (Gun Owners) with broad strokes. Speak all you want about whatever you want, but I'd rather not have to read about it on a GUN forum. Again, just sharing my opinion. Frank's the boss. He can do as he wishes. It's his image, and his dime. You believe in freedom of speech so much, you want this section shut down because people talk about subjects you don't like.![]()

Every gun forum I've ever been on has an off-topic/non-firearm related section. Why in the hell does it surprise you that we have one here is beyond me.I believe this section has nothing to do with firearms.

Then find someplace else to beSpeak all you want about whatever you want, but I'd rather not have to read about it on a GUN forum.
let me be perfectly clear........so there is no confusion......I keep up with current events, and I know exactly what the BLM movement is.
