Can anyone tell me where I can find 6BR brass, preferable Lapua 6 BR brass? Seems like all the online retailers have been sold out for a while and nothing is available locally near me. Otherwise, does anyone know when a new supply will be available? I'm not in urgent need yet but as my build moves along I'm starting to sweat being hung up by the brass.

They were redoing north american distribution, according to the lapua rep on accurate shooter it should start trickling back in soon enough but no details on when exactly.
They keep kicking this can down the road...was mid-Feb, then early March, now late March?
I’m hoping Peterson Brass starts making the 6BR soon enough. They have said they are adding it to the 2018 lineup. If they could get it out while there is a Lapua shortage they would instantly take over a nice chunk of the market share. In my experience with the Peterson 308, it is consistent and very well made.
I just picked up 3 boxes of new 6BR Lapua on accurate shooter forum and it wasn't a bad price either.
Spent a LOT of time talking to the Lapua reps at Shot Show. Got the same answer, sometime in March. They also tried to play the shortage off on the reorganization efforts.
Blows my mind how companies can be run so poorly. You have a product that is a staple in the market that many shooters are using, and you let it fall completely out of the market for months. That is easily thousands of dollars in lost revenue. I really wish someone would come to the market with 6 Dasher brass and take them to the cleaners. Then maybe they would get their heads out of their @$$.
Also blows my mind that a top component like 6 Dasher brass is NOT actually being made by anyone. No, I don't count the sorry @$$ excuse for 6 Dasher that Norma came out with. Another example of company that has their head up their @$$. You have a market who will buy significant quantities of your product, and you decide to come out with something that only a handful of people have any interest in or will be capable of using.
Oh well!

Dasher really only just blew up in our little corner of the shooting world. We just drained the existing pipeline and instead of rushing to fill it, the prudent mfg will wait to see if it’s a bubble or not. New products and expansions cost capital, and if you want to stay in business you can’t rush to fill every blip in demand at any cost.
Not just the Dasher but many of the other BR brass based variants, like the BRA, BRX, BR-DX, etc., that shooters are using these days have made the brass more in demand. These 6mm calibers have also made the Berger's 105 Hybrids difficult to locate these days as well.

I hate a unicorn just as much as the next guy. But I bought 300 from gunstop reloading last week. I heard creedmoor sports had them. MHSA posted about they got some... So it's coming on back on board I believe. But yes I agree, I hate it when companies don't respond to the market- brings me back to the H4350 days...
