I couldn't watch it anymore after he tried to justify four ARMED police officers not going into a building with an active shooter because going up against a semi-auto rifle would've been like going in bare handed. No fuck wit, bare handed is what the people in that school were when they held doors open and stepped in front of the line of fire. You know what they did? Saved fucking lives, which is more than can be said for the cowards that hid behind their vehicles waiting for someone else to do their job for them.

i would be shocked if these deputies did not have vests and rifles in their cruisers when they pulled up.....especially this day and age......i mean fuck, i keep that shit in MY car.....
hell, even if your dept doesnt issue it to you.....and for one reason or another wont let you buy yourself a patrol rifle........you can buy LVL3 plates and carriers for dirt cheap now......couple that with a few 33rd mags, and youve seriously increased your capabilities......and just keep it in the trunk of your cruiser until you need it.
regardless, ide place my bets on 4 officers with handguns vs 1 nutbag with a rifle any day

Anything above Lt. is political. Enlisted men have more common sense than most officers.

A lot of officers play politics, especially connected ones like West Pointers. Its a competitive sport, and lots of times the Enlisted guys get shafted so an Officer can get ahead in the game. I'm not saying all of them are like that, they're not, but its a significant percentage. Peters was an Intelligence Pogue anyway.

Such a BS excuse, if you know what you are doing with a good pistol and are aggressive with it, if you surprise the guy with the AR when he is pointing at something else, (like trying to shoot into a classroom door window), you may be able to get the entire magazine on him before he can get one off on you. Who cares if he has body armor on... walk the bullets down and across just below his waist, hips and leg if you can't get a head or neck shot.
There is no excuse to not be training to ignore the areas that may have body armor on them.

Sorry, he is from Pennsylvania. His views on gun ownership are quite diferent from everyone I have met from there.
I really don't care what this person says. It is not surprising to me that he espouses this crap and that he is covering for his gross lack of leadership. Nothing will happen to him. He will be protected.

The election determines who becomes Chief Executive and the majority in Congress. It is not rigged as you say."

Not one bit of the dialog on this whole incident is directed at holding the killer accountable for his own actions even though for once he was apprehended alive.
