I have a 6.5-284 bolt gun built on a la action and I would like to know if anyone has modified a Magpul acis mag. Is there a kit or a mod someone has come up with. Thanks.

I would get the HS Precision feed lip tool and modify an AI mag. I get 7 straight .284 in a 10 round mag.
The magnum Magpul AC (300 Win Mag, the yellowish follower) works perfectly out of the box for 6.5x284 and 284 Win. No mods needed for either of my rifles (Defiance Deviant and a Shilen DGR, both in McMillans with PTG bottom metal). The 284 win based cartridges are a rebated rim, so they are nice and fat down at the head.

Mine wants to hang up and jam if they are seated towards the rear of the mag. Mine is built on a rem 700 action in a krg whiskey 3 chassis.
That's a bummer. Try some AICS or Accurate mags, etc. You can adjust the feed lips to let it feed when it needs to on the metal mags too (if that is the kind of jam you've got going on). I'm not aware of any kits specifically for the 284 rounds though.
