I mean, realistically speaking, if they are watching the series, they should know they're not going to talk about grandpapies 3006 from the Sears catalog. Am I expecting to much? Haha.

Who's budget..? This is akin to those who think that a $1000 watch is a bargain. Spuhr mount, Atlas bipod, Nightforce scope, even with the 'free' action this is no where near a 'budget build'. I'd think that a Rem 700 with Talley LWs and fixed SWFA scope is more in line with what most would consider a 'reasonable' budget rifle. Only if one ignores the cost of what it would it take to recreate this 'build' can it be considered 'budget', but yes it is cheaper than buying a full kit AI.

Wanna check out my 'budget build' sports car? I dropped a junkyard SBC into a gutted Miata that I already owned, only cost $200...
