6.5 Creedmoor - FDE
I’ve never owned, or shot, a 6.5 Creedmoor. After researching online, including here at the Hide, it just looked like a fun round to shoot. Quality ammo is available. Quality components are available for reloading. Less recoil than a .308. What’s not to like.
This will be the most I’ve ever spent on any gun. I’m really looking forward to getting it, reloading for it, and making tiny little groups with it.

Really looking forward to this. I went with the 6mm... thinking it will be my gateway into production class PRS
I went for a change of pace: 375 Warner, to throw the 400gr Flatlines at 3500fps... 4.0 mils to a 1000yd from a 100yd zero.
Got it in FDE. Not sure how I will fit the 5"+ OAL into the magazine, but I like reloading challenges.

Wind? Who needs to calculate wind when your flight time to 1000 is less than a second.
Decided to do another 6.5 Creed and put down a deposit yesterday.
That's what I'm shooting now. Already invested time and equipment reloading 6.5C, lots of different bullets and powders on hand for load development. Plus, I'm lousy on wind calls, and am convinced that the heavier, higher BC 6.5mm bullets are more forgiving compared to faster/lighter 6mm projectiles.
Would like to try a Dasher after this first barrel is shot out - maybe I'll be more dialed in by then.

Left handed 6.5C in Sako green for factory ammo and ease of reloading. Also getting the 223 trainer package because I love shooting 223.
Yes it is, using a 34 inch barrel.
Al and Dan had it out for some more testing this week (I forget if it was Monday or yesterday) and they had the 361 on the upper half of 3600 with some new powders.
