Can we get it erected next to a roadside so I can get my picture taken next to it like with the Hinson National Historic Marker plate?

Because, well, that would be excellent. I'd wear my unit citation for the photo.

You could do it in SEPA... but some crackhead would steal the plaque for the bronze. So maybe get it put up in, I don't know... Butte, Montana?

Cheers,

Sirhr

It's some real Tannhauser Gate shit, from someone who's never once achieved escape velocity.

One of the greatest film moments ever... shame to debase it by linking it to our LRRP ROTC Sniper-supporting dude.... Then again, we have no scruples here. Game on!

Cheers,

Sirhr

I want to know who was shooting at the piss clerk in his office? I bet it was the worlds largest office, how do I know? Because how long it took the report to get to him after hearing the crack of the bullets whizzing past his ears. A true hero. Staring at Cock all day

Ok, call me naive, but the only connection to the military is my dad who was 101st airborne in nam. He's got some impressive decorations and stories, but that is about as far as my knowledge goes about the innards of the service. My question is, how much of this guy's story had any element of truth to it, if any?

i went to the range all day. When I left last night for supper, the thread was on page 6. When I got back today, it was at 12 and locked....man o man I hate missing a party

You missed a humdinger...........Never seen anything like it before. Some of the oldtimers said it was wilder in the old days.

This guy is just a breath of.....well the closest I can come up with is a week dead bloated cow in *90 degree heat that pops when you drag them off to the bone pile? You know, the kinda smell that makes you throw up in your mouth a little bit?

When that leg pops off like baked chicken....
Black and green bugs spill out with the stench.
Makes ya hungry for a pork sammich served up in a dirty ashtray.

There was a guy up in Wyoming that decided to catch a "small" Black Bear cub as a mascot for his lodge. I'm not sure who caught who but he looked like he had a run in with a buzz saw afterwards and he was lucky mama was not around or he would have need of a trauma center. The Wyoming Game and Fish had a Loooong discussion with him also about harassing wildlife. Some people just have NO common sense.

It's to bad California does not trust its citizens like others states do and issue CCWs the way other states have along with mutual recognition. It makes one wonder why?

Black Bears kill more people than any other bear because for one there are more of them and many people do not really fear them. Colin McClelland was a friend on mine and died of a Black Bear attack on August 10, 1993 in Fremont County, Colorado while I was still living in Wyoming. He was not a hunter and never carried a gun. A bear tore open the door to McClelland's trailer and attacked him at Waugh Mountain, Colorado. The bear was later killed by game wardens. 99 out of a hundred Black Bears will run at the sight or whiff of a human; BEWARE of that 100th bear because (if they are not a female defending cubs) they are a male with one thing on their mind to kill and eat you just like happened to my friend. The wardens shot that bear over what was left of my friends body after 3 days.

If you live or intent to stay any time in bear country "James Gary Shelton's" books on BEARS like his Bear Encounter Survival Guide, Bear Attacks the Deadly Truth, and Bear Attacks II, Myth and Reality are MUST reads. I met Gary Shelton while he was researching my friend's death and I have dogeared copies of all his books and learned a lot from him. While you West Coasters know more about fishing off this California I grew up around Black Bears and spent ten years "IN" Grizzly country. I believe I know a little about BEARS and bear behavior. I was qualified to teach Hunter/Safety Classes in Wyoming. That is why I always carried a Ruger .44 Magnum with Randy Garrett 330 grain Hammerheads. Look them up online. It was not my primary weapon but it was always the one on my leg; as they say last ditch weapon. While in Wyoming I talked with a Game Warden that was mauled by a Grizzly as he and other wardens were relocating it. Long story but the many thing is that was when they still only carried .357 Magnums. It was after his mauling they switched to the Ruger .44 Mags with the loads I carry when handling grizzly. .

What makes you think I can help you? Only you can help you. I certain can not. I only know what I have lived and experienced. I know what is true in my life. You have to find your own path.

My life and experience have definitely not been that of the average person. I have witnessed too much death which most people do not. I have friends in agencies most people do not. I can't help that. I have personally held a military clearance that allowed me to handle nuclear warheads on Nike Hercules missiles; does that surprise you? The U.S. Army knew full well of my beliefs and wanted me to continue doing that job. Average Americans would be shocked at how many things that go on and are never revealed to the American public as the crisis was averted by the narrowest of margins. How close you have come to nuclear exchanges with it being averted by mere seconds. I was a member of NORAD where Russian bombers would come into American air space. There was and incident involving an incoming unidentified aircraft coming in to Okinawa out of authorized corridor, bellow authorized altitude, and supersonic (above authorized speed) which caused a scramble of F4 Interceptors, a when the radar officer (me) and the missile officer had our keys off our necks in the the sealed boxes and turned with HOT Nike Hercules missiles on the launchers with nuclear warheads on them with battalion command in our headsets saying we had had clearance to launch and the only reason we did not was I and the missile launch officer a fellow Lieutenant asked for verification launch order because their were four American F4 Phantoms I could see on my screen that were going to get vaporized if I obeyed that order to launch that missile. Battalion backed down on that fire order or a bunch of people would have been nuked in 1972 southwest of Naha Naval Air Base, Okinawa. Needless to say I did not want to be the first American to fire a nuclear weapon since WWII but that is how close it came one day in 1972 during the Vietnam war. It is a lot more involved than what I have told here but it scared the hell out of me and there was a major investigation involving the the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force over the incident. So when do you not obey an order?

I have only told only a part of the incident but enough that anyone with the proper clearance can verify its authenticity. Like I say KC I have not lived an average life.

But wait.... there’s more!!!!

https://www.glocktalk.com/posts/23722509/

I don't have nor will I make any theological arguments about God. All I have is my personal knowledge and that someone outside me has inter-seeded throughout my life since early childhood to save my life even to set aside the laws of nature when necessary. I don't know why me when others around me have died and yet here I am going on 67 years this Dec. 23. Some may call him my guardian angel but I have heard a literal voice speak to me when it was needed to save my live in life and death situations. It is a deep male voice I hear not with my ears but it has been loud and clear at times shouted into my mind that is I had not headed I would have been instantly killed. They were warnings of imminent death. Now I know how that can be perceived as I have a degree in Psychology (Yes, I wanted to understand better how people work). I have been one of those people since childhood that dream and see things before they happen. I have never had any control over when that happens nor have I ever sought such control as many do.

I learned at a very early age not to share with others what I sawand experienced as other people including my own parents did not react well to my sharing. People like me learn to only openly share with others of like kind. "Normal" people fear what they do not understand. Yes, again as that is why I also was interested in "Abnormal Psychology" and "Parapsychology". I can not explain how I or others can do some of the things we can do as it simply defies my understanding of the laws of physics as we currently understand them. I have dreamed about a building and events years before they were built and occurred and yet they happened exactly as I dreamed them (it was a recurring dream).

Yes, I also have had contact with non-humans not of my choosing and seen over 14 different "UFO" types of craft throughout my lifetime. I have been studied by "UFO" researchers as has my wife (her father was one of the Army Air Corp and later US Air Force Pilots who photographed "UFOs" that never "officially" happened). My first U.S.Army officer MOS was "small unit missile commander" for the Air DefenseArtillery and I was debriefed by Project Blue Book officers two years after it was "officially" shut down. How can I say that, that encounter "bothered" me deeply!

Now some people believe in God and some do not. Some people believe humans were seeded on earth by "alien races" and some do not while others do not believe in anything. I on the other hand have seen and experienced things almost no one wants to hear about. What I do know is there is a GOD and everything along with everyone operating in these universes are subject to HIM. Why can I say this? Not because of just what I have read and studied over my lifetime but because of what I have seen and experienced first hand. I have not lived a normal average life and I have no proof to offer you however it is my belief all mankind is about to have their paradigms shaken to their very core. You are going to be tested as you can not even imagine now; the deception is going to be greater than at any time before in mankind's history do not be easily fooled as your ancestors have been.

Wow. Just wow. I’m a little disappointed the Pheonix Eye Punch wasn’t an integral part of averting nuclear war. I can’t get David Lee Roth, Master of the Celestial Flying Guillotine, out of my head...
Space shuttle door gunner sounds reasonable all of a sudden alongside Snake Eater, Radar Officer at NORAD missile command.
After all that there’s simply no question he’s seen attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion and C-beams glittering in the dark.

Hi,

There will be movies made about his movies....

Sincerely,
Theis

Saudacoes,

You do realize that on the next forum he starts posting on, he will reference the chain of events here, right? His recollection of his time here and why he no longer posts is because he schooled us and called upon his experiences in Vietnam, as a Field Marshall, to expose us for the posers we all are.

Atenciosamente,

TG <3

Shit, that cuts to the bone. Seems like just yesterday he flamed out. It was good while it lasted though and I'll never be the same.

Rocky, you put up a helluva Horror Show..............

No shit, that was true gold and if he comes back and goes any longer he very well might upset The Mighty Gecko.

I think there's a grain of truth to it, every lie generally has that, but better liars don't over embellish the lie and try not to attract fact checkers.

Also, he's pulled this off on other forums that didn't call him out. He figured SH was gonna be full of wannabes, boy was HE ever fucking wrong!

I have a hard time believing he's this old and doing that, if so, he's likely mentally challenged in some way. But I think he may well be younger, making it all up. Hard to tell without just investigating it. Certainly not 'Hide material.

You guys should watch "I, Tonya" about Tonya Harding. Great movie BTW. But the guy they get to hire out the hit was this guy named Shawn and he's EXACTLY like Papacock, talking about going on secret patrols and hostage retrieval and shit like that --and he's like 23 and lives with his mom.
