Yes. Great for American jobs. Canadian loggers, Canadian truck drivers, lumber brought right over the border to a Canadian factory to process the lumber. Which is why the American factories and storage facilities are abandoned. I’ve been to a few small facilities that the owners were able to turn into microbreweries.
There are many, that would need to be based on cost comparisons. But American loggers and truckers are the first solution.
No more export of raw materials. Canada can buy boards if they want, or plywood, but not logs.
