Anyone shocked we are not seeing 6x47 first or at least at the same time? Or has lapua finally given in to the masses and accepted that the factory support behind creedmoor gave it the boost to mainstream knowing 6x47 guys are ALL reloaders anyways and don't mind necking down

I'm not I guess, old saying, follow the money. By marketing 6 creed brass, they're still catering to reloaders. Be fun to know how decisions are actually made, did they follow alpha, peterson, and starline? If so, it may be a good sign, some of these American companies are panning to make some real popular cases amongst reloaders, saum, wsm, Norma mag etc... It'll be great to have multiple choices.

Damn. I'm in the middle of prepping my Hornady brass. The performance has been ok so far but the neck wall thickness is a bit too inconsistent. It may force me to turn necks which I was hoping to avoid.

I love the consistency of my Lapua 6.5CM brass.

I turned necks once. I would rather spend the money on Lapua brass and be done with it.

.223, 6x47L and .308W (handloads) shooter......all lapua brass. It ain't perfect, but it's damn close. I neck turn all my brass because of tight neck chambering, but "cleaning up" Lapua necks usually entails removing no more than about .0002 to .00025" of the thick side of the neck. (that's 2 ten thousandths.........not 2 thousandths.....pretty damn good). You don't turn Lapua brass ? I doubt you are having any problems whatsoever because of it.

I shoot lapua in 308 , 260 rem, 6.5 CM -- went with Alpha on 6CM and the SD/ES I get on Alpha is half that on Lapua. Didnt want to beleive it, but its fact.
Good to know. I was considering buying some 6XC brass from them, but ended up going with a 6BR barrel instead. If I get a second barrel to play around with I'll definitely make it 6XC and pick up some of their brass after hearing that.

I just wish more places would ship in the MTM cases with foam already installed. That's one of the things I really liked about Alpha brass, besides the fact that their quality seems to be excellent.

    I'd wait a little on alpha 6xc

I got some Peterson 6 creedmoor small primer brass recently from Grafs and Sons. I have used there 308 win brass with excellent results so I am familiar with the quality of their product. Loaded some up the other day of the 6 creedmoor and my SD was cut dramatically and my groups got smaller at 100 yards from what I was getting with Hornady brass. Happy so far.
