Hottest I've ever been in my life was in Corpus Christi. I went for a run at 9pm, it was 102F and pouring down rain. I made it a mile before I said fuck it and walked back to the house.

I'm in Vegas right now, it was 106 yesterday and it was beautiful.

Basic Training was 100-115F the entire time I was there... generally over 110F, and at night it was about 85F.

Good times during a Texas heat wave....

I used to do a nurse shark feeding "experience". They are surprisingly partial to dry dog food. I, however, was the one doing the feeding and Id' put the divers in a semicircle watching me. The sharks would swim all around them, and most people loved it.

lol no one is ever happy!

I was all kinds of happy for the 3 hrs. and 15 minutes we were on the ground in Goose Bay, Newfoundland (on the way to Desert Shield/Storm). Gave some serious thought to retiring up there.

Goose Bay?
Went through Gander plenty of times, even that August but never Goose Bay.
We sure took a long time to get over the pond.
Ellsworth to Offutt. Wait a week.
Offutt to Boston.
Boston to Bangor Maine. Two days there.
Bangor to Gander then to RAF Mildenhall.
The folks from Mildenhall forwarded to Moron AB, Spain and to the sand box.
I could never understand why they didn't just send us all the way there and bypass all of the other moves.
But, hey, that's our government for ya.

Express C-141 - Travis AFB to Goose Bay to Torrejón, Spain to Jubail. Don't think the Air Force liked our company (or our demo locker).

You Northern boys have gone soft. That's an average day in Floriduh. :)
in all fairness.....you also dont need to deal with this for 6 months out of the year

my body has adjusted for polar temperatures......i even keep a reserve of blubber year round to keep warm when temps drop........im like those polar bears you see at the zoo on a hot day and they are passed out trying to cling to their tiny ice blocks.

its like the reverse of when you guys get cold temps......like temps in the south drop to 40* and yall are "freezing" and im just sitting here wearing shorts and a Tshirt about to drive to dunks to get an iced coffee.

Apparently, everyone here lives in the worst location, weatherwise.

i dunno man, i had a boss from uganda......said temps rarely got much over 80s.......average temps in the 70s........sounds pretty good to me if it didnt involve living in Uganda
