WALKAWAY Campaign! BOOM! Said by a Gay man and SLAMS Liberalism!

Great painting.

The town has a "Near this spot....." marker that speaks of Sam W's lone battle against the Empire.

I note in my lifetime the marker seems to have moved three times.

First it was in front of what used to be a Tavern on April 19, 1775. Many militia met there and may or may not have had some liquid fortitude throughout the day knowing of the events in Lexington/Concord and preparing for what was coming their way.

Than the marker moved to the center of town at a main crossroads.

Now its in front of the Jason Russell house scene of a massacre of militia that got surprised by the flankers while engaging the main column in retreat.

Im skeptical he fought at the JRH as everyone there was killed and dragged into the house and left to bleed out in the kitchen.

Im guessing Sam W did his work near or about the Tavern after telling another patron "Hold my rum and watch this....."

Ill get that stone rubbing, great project to do with my kids. Ill get some shots local of the Tavern and "Near this spot..." stone.

Buy More Ammo

Polishing .308 brass daily.

Two ten pound rice bags currently filled to bursting with clean brass, more to come.

Thousands of 168/175 projos at the ready and similar primer quantities and 16 pounds of IMR 4064.

The S1050 is cleaned and greased for case prep followed by installation of the loading tool head.

Im going to make it rain ammo.

Frikken price of 4064 has gone up too high. Its almost like the millennial discovered it was the original varget.

Fucking kids discover what the old guys are using and claim it as their own thinking they discovered something.

Fuck, soon they will "discover" the classic hand fitted Smith and Wesson revolvers currently going cheap and ruin that market.

Well there is always IMR 4895.

Very articulate. THIS is largely why in 2008 I went and flipped 180 degrees and going from the Director of grassroots ObamaLA to being a die hard Classic Liberal / Libertarian. I walked away from ObamaLA and sent a letter to 2,500 volunteers I was throwing my support behind Ron Paul. You can only imagine how that went over.

... and just to finish this thread by following up on my OP and my red pill moment / conversion to Libertarian / crawling from the cess pool of delusion STILL is floating several places around the internet: http://www.assaultweb.net/forums/fo...-obama-grassroots-leader-switches-to-ron-paul

PS My only regret was the part about "I think Obama would make an AWESOME President" (Ack, makes me vomit today) I knew then it was a lie... but inserted it to hopefully make it at least somewhat more palpable to those people I knew I was going to alienate.

Rand will be president one day, two more swings of the pendulum.

How any person could be anything but a libertarian always baffled me, the whole of teh Dem party hates them, no matter the platitudes they might hear. A part of the repubs looks upon them with religious pity or worse but is way more accepting than the Dems, the libertarians, well, they just dont give one flying shit what you are as long as you go by the constitution. In the libertarian world , you just aint special, not in a good way or a bad way.

I take some moments from time to time to load up and accumulate 30-'06 to Garand specs and put them up in Enbloc clips.

FYI, the recipes:

My M2 Ball equivalent, Hornady 150gr FMJBT W/C, Commercial brass, I buy Hornady when I can't acquire fired brass, 50.0gr of IMR-4064, WLR.

MY 30-06/168 FGMM equivalent, Fed 168gr SMK, Commercial brass either fired or new Hornady, 48.1gr IMR-4064, WLR. The FGMM brass and primers are nice, but this stuff shoots damned nicely enough without them.

I have several hundred in clips of the M2, and I just knocked out 200 of the 168's this past week. I can't buy it this cheap, and these recipes provide good accuracy out of a decent Garand.

I get my clips from Ammogarand, and my fiddly bits for the Garand from Fulton Armory.

Ammogarand sometimes stocks excellent M2 equivalent PPU/Prvi-Partizan 150gr 30-06 ammo specifically marked for Garands, and the brass is very nice for reloading.

Those 85,000 Philippine Garands are already in the United States, and first reports say there is a pretty good proportion of them in nice shape. If they need help, these two vendors would be my first choice for bits/pieces/improvements.
