I was set on an MTU contour, but there is a ~10wk lead time. The Bull contour is ready to roll now. Has anyone shot the Bull contour? Thoughts? Is it unwieldy? Uses would strictly be prone steel and local PRS style competitions.

The bull is a solid 1" the whole way, the MTU is 1.250 and tapers down to .920.
Criterion claims a 28" is 6 lbs, bartlein claims a 26" mtu is 7 lbs. Obviously the calibers and removed metal could make up some of the difference.

Ought to be pretty darn close to one another in terms of feel.

Why not buy the bull and have a 'smith chuck it up and turn it to whatever contour you want? Think of it as a turned blank (barstock with a skim cut to clean up the OD)

Are you really in a hurry? What's another 10 weeks to get exactly what you want? Ten weeks is actually quite speedy compared to the Origin and PVA wait.
I'm not in a hurry, bUT if I had, I'd use it. If the difference is neglible, I'd jump now. If it's fairly substantial, I can wait.
