New to the site looking to soak up info.
I been shooting USPSA for a few years now I want to get back where I started, shooting long range.
I picked up a savage 10 .308 with HS precision stock, 24 inch barrel, and a vortex pst 6-24-50 optic with tps rings and tps 20 moa rail.
I got it zeroed and ready to go. The farthest range I have close to me is 700 yards. Cant wait to get out there and see what I can do.
I want to start shooting in the local PRS matches but I never shot further than 100 yards so I need some practice!

Welcome from another Floridian, just around the south side of the bay from you.
Are you shooting at Manatee?
If it ever opens, JTAC Ranch will have 2000yds available.
They are located just east of Brandon/Valrico area.
Right now they are more than a year behind schedule.. (Sad face)

I have not been to manatee yet. I shoot at the WAC and going to go to universal shooting academy in a couple weeks they have a 700 yard range
