I'm confused... 5700 elite update, cable, cdm

So I think I'm a little confused, I have been running the 5700 elite version 1.02 non Bluetooth for about 2 years and thought I had it sorted out but apparently not.

I've been running the 105 hybrids and thought I was using the cdm but pretty sure I've been using the g1 bc most of the time which has lined up pretty well so I haven't really questioned it. This was loaded via PC and cable with uploader version 42. Also tried version 50 and that also seemed to work, pulled existing data off of kestrel. I don't think I switched to custom drag models in the bullet library menu when it offers g1, g7, or cdm.

Now I'm going to be switching to the 115 dtacs and would like to use the cdm so my questions are:

How do I get the 115 dtac cdm? It shows it on the master list but does not show it on the PC uploader list. 70gn rdf is also not there.

Should I be updating this elite from version 1.02?

If I download the app to get the updated cdm list can I load from phone onto 5700 elite without having Bluetooth? USB C to regular USB adapter and use my existing cable?

Thank you in advance for the help.

1.23 is if you can use the app. If you don't have the LiNK version and have to use the PC Software to perform the update, the latest you can get is 1.22.

That's what it seemed like to me, thank you for the clarification.

One more question while I have the professionals attention. I know this is talked about in a few other spots but I'm still a little hazy on it. Should I use the Cal dsf with the custom drag curve if things are off within any super, trans, or subsonic range and mv is trued at let's say 1000yds or under? Not sure what range it will recommend at the moment. Setup will be 115 rbt dtac at 3030fps. Concern is will messing with that throw it off at other ranges and should I only be using the Cal dsf in the trans/subsonic ranges and mv in the supersonic range?

Thanks again for the input and sorry if this is a repeat or stupid question.

Cal DSF should only be used in the trans/subsonic regions. And you should enter them from closest to longest correction. For instance if you make a Cal DSF at 1500 yards, and then make another at 1300 yards, the 1500 yard one will be disregarded. You should enter one at 1300 and then 1500 (if still necessary) in that order in this example (again as long as this is at least transonic region)

Cal MV should be used in the supersonic range to make any corrections.
