I get from the post the other day, the verticle rings are to stay away from . What's the thought on these 45degree rings?

The Spuhr mounts are widely considered in the top of the line category along with several others.
If you like the style, options, design and weight, it's hard to go wrong with them.
There are also other similar top of the line makers with horizontal splits if you prefer, but the Sphur ones are very good.

i put it in the search box and all it came up with is folks selling them. i wasn't able to find a article on them.
